Higher quality version of Cardiff which could cause problems for Wolves with their direct style and tall lads at set pieces.
After too many years I am flying in from Amsterdam especially to watch the match and my brother and my 2 nephews who live down south in the UK will be joining my 7 year old daughter (attending her first match) and I. A family of 5, back to the roots! We have got tickets in SW1, row K. My first home game since the early 90s and I cant wait. What’s the SW1 like?
I’ve got a ticket in the temporary stand and I’m like a kid again waiting for it! But given my track record last season in the games I saw I’m dreading it if we lose!! Can’t wait though.
Only single seats left now, few returns must have been put on as a few seats in previously sold out areas popped up SW corner 2 Billy Wright upper 3 Family enclosure 24 (all single seats though so will take some shifting only really available to OAPs or kids going on their own) Most Wolves supporters in the ground this season.
Ticket arrived for temporary stand. It says ‘Enter the ground a minimum of 30 minutes before the match starts ‘. Am I being stupid here or is that a normal requirement?! Don’t remember that before!
, Ok, thanks. I did go last season, though not often at all, but when I could. Just don’t remember that! Thanks for replying
The more that arrive early the better, they can enjoy the entertainment and create an atmosphere ........ and less of a queue for us late arrivals.
Trying to find out how many Burnley have sold but can't. Their site still allows me to add 10 (max amount per transaction) to my basket so certainly not sold out. Nothing on their forums, did notice few of them relishing being in the quadrant for atmosphere though. Think we need to be on this...we've had the excitement of the first game and playing the champions at home but this is the first less glamorous game plus an early kick off.
Anyone know roughly how many Burnley 1st teamers have been away with their national teams? We've had nine players gone for a week. This could be important if they've only had one, they potentially have had almost a full squad for two weeks to concentrate on finding our weaknesses.
How the **** did Tarkowski get a game with England? Surely Coady is a million times a player than him?
Wolves v Burnley – Made in 1888, Defined in 2018 Some general ramblings about this weekend's fixture.
Excellent stuff as usual there GK. Fully agree that it is possible that we may have to deal with the ‘Barca effect’ in trying to overcome them. And that certainly is something we should truly appreciate as a big nod towards our elevation in football standing. What could though work in our favour is that with their poor start they may be a bit desperate to get a result, this might mean them trying to get that first goal and then parking the bus. Yes, that first goal is everything as usual.
Sixth best defence.....only 39 conceded in 38 games (5 in last away game in Wenger final home match).
Massive thanks to @wolvesultra for assisting me ticket wise! Roll on what will be an epic 21st Birthday, for me on match-day itself!
Few seats popped up back on sale on the official site all over the ground including 24 in W3. Others are mostly singles.
5live discussing wolves burnley. "Wolves looked good v Everton then...lets just talk about Burnley...." Spent last 24 hours talking about Lloris and Rashford ffs.

These Matchday covers are again a thing of total beauty! And it will be both 7 points clear of the bottom 3 AND a spot in the #Top10 within the opening 5, with a win tommorow! That would be one sweet #BirthdayPresent, with the magical 21 hitting come midnight tonight. #WWFC #WOLBUR #Wolves
