Confirmed, to be played at Wembley.
Really surprised they messed up the timing so badly, they were so confident of making the start of the season. Wonder what's cropped up to delay it so much.
There are moles digging up the pitch.
Knowing it won't go past STH's for our allocation, keep an eye on Spurs Tickets | Tottenham Hotspur if you wish to be sneaky and providing tickets get to General Sale!
But seeing that there are still a good number left for Manchester City at Wembley on Monday, things could look promising.
Do u have to be registered with spurs to get tickets in home ends
It is difficult to argue with Tottenham Hotspur. They decided to save the best until last before leaving Wembley..
Our first visit to Wembley for 30 years!
What's the allocation?
They should be made to play the whole season there. If that were anyone outside the top 6 there’s no way The FA and Premier League would be so lenient
Will be 3,000 most probably. The maximum they need to sell at £30. Everywhere else in the ground £45 or over probably.
Apparently the "typical" allocation for away fans is 3,000 (which sounds Uber-stingy in a 90,000-seat stadium!), although I'm sure I read somewhere that Cardiff got allocated 9,000, maybe because Spurs knew they wouldn't sell 87,000 home tickets for playing Cardiff!! Don't know that allocation for 29th Dec. has been announced yet.
Even if we only get 3k, will still be depressing seeing a Wembley top tier empty.
You expect to see these places full to the brim with fans, like it was in Cardiff in 03.
Never thought my first visit would be a league game. Bummer.
Incredibly disappointed with this, I always wanted the first time I watched Wolves at Wembley to be when it really meant something with half the ground cheering us on.
The prospect of playing a semi final there ruined it a bit but this just completely ruins it.
I’m no fan of the national stadium being inaccessible to most of the country but it is what it is and I’ve heard plenty of stories about those magical Wolves games at Wembley.
I always dreamed my first experience of that being one of those truly wonderful occasions where the eyes of the country and most of the world were on our great club, with me scoring the winner and 50,000 of us singing my name as I’m sure we all do
Im properly gutted by this if I’m honest.
Spurs don’t get 90k attendance though to sell tickets for
Personally I’m happy about this, never been to Wembley as I’ve refused to go until Wolves got there. What’s it been 30 years between trips, so I’ll take this.
Get to visit their new ground next season hopefully.
I blame Torquay for me never seeing us at Wembley yet,I've never forgiven them for 1989!
I'm still counting it as a new ground though. Also gutted, was looking fwd to New WHL.
My thoughts exactly.
I get sentimental thoughts
But end day we ain’t been close to Wembley for years, now we’re out of championship the playoff was realistically our best route there ever
With how we approach cups we won’t get their anytime soon
This is my view.
Short term view, FOSUN may have gone for a cup to grow our appeal.
However, I think they're clearly thinking long term. Emphasis on strong league finishes and hopefully top 6 (at least) finishes. Fielding the best team in the league is the only way to maintain this.
Feels weird saying te top 6 bit still but I think we all know it's the aim.
As long as we win , I don’t mind where
Understand your point fully, but if WOlves did get to a Cup Final in our lifetime, we would probably only get 25-30,000 tickets.
One thing though hard to fit Sedgley Gold and Black into a song!
Get what your saying though definitely, trip to Wembley should really be a special occasion rather than a regular league game. I’ll still be there though! My bank balance ay looking forward to December at all though lol, Cardiff Newcastle Fulham and Spurs.
I CANT wait for the
“Only 3k allocation - disgraceful”
“We need to readdress Loyalty points”
“It’s a 90k seater stadium”
Nor me. The ****ers then got tanked 4-1 by Notlob in the final without putting up a fight. I’m not the greatest fan of Roger Hansbury either.
Glued to the ****ing post when Mark Loram tucked that free kick in the other corner.
Just back from White Hart Lane as my company are supplying equipment for the stadium build and trying to get the samples back was like trying to get, ermmm, a quid out of Daniel Levy.
Firstly, it's my first visit to Spurs so a bit on the area. Wow. What an absolute hell hole. I've been to some of London's worst estates with work but the area around by White Hart Lane is up there. Anyone who thinks Wolverhampton is a hole should see this place, one of those dumps of a place where you can sense it is waiting to kick off. The train into Liverpool Street was like dicing with death, I had a pretty expensive watch on and the equipment we had was worth a few grand (it was a last minute request to go there so I hadn't really done any research or dressed appropriately) and I'm calling today a success for getting back in one piece.
Secondly, how is Arsenal considered a Derby game, I swear it took about 45 minutes from passing the old Highbury to getting to WHL?!
I met with a few of the construction staff there who were all very professional by the way, they've hired a lot of local people and a lot has been put back into the area, which is great because it ****ing needs it.
The stadium itself is miles away from completion. I would be astonished if they are in for the moved projected date. It's actually quite funny how far off they are. Forget the videos of light shows etc there's a huge amount of construction, deconstruction and ground work to go. Almost every contractor there is in some sort of litigation argument with the club. Daniel Levy is personally signing off everything, amusingly he apparently had ceiling heights reduced (he's much more vertically challenged in real life apparently) and now that has caused issues with supplementary equipment so they've had to be reinstalled at a new height and re-approved
I'm sure it will be great when it's finished but they've made a right **** out of the whole thing and don't expect it to be ready any time soon, I reckon it's 3 months from completion if they are lucky.
And btw, someone called me out on the PA system compliance for fire detection on either this or another thread being the reason for the stadium being delayed...well, it was confirmed by their CEO here
Spurs reaches deal to stay on at Wembley amid new stadium uncertainty
Am I right for thinking that Newcastle away tickets points won’t be contributed towards spurs tickets?
If so, chances 1040 spurs ticket?
Looking forward to the trip
Cheers for the inside info. Very interesting stuff. If you had watched the video the other day, you would have thought that the stadium was ready to go- from your insight- it obviously isn't.
They've been all over the Facebook sites for weeks, it's ****ing infuriating.
It's like they think only Wolves could possibly muster enough to take more than 3k aswell
Amazing how Cardiff tickets going to reach lower season ticket holders who still won’t go
But then all moan about spurs
Why wouldn't they?
I’m guessing based on when the sales dates kick in, if Spurs tickets go on sale before the Newcastle game your points won’t have been added until after the Newcastle game is played.
Pretty sure they’ll go on sale on Saturday to STH and games on Sunday
You heard it here first! Basically confirmed 3 month delay
It's quite embarassing for them now. They should have just played 2 seasons at Wembley. It's like when your train is late and it's like, 7 minute delay, you wait 7 minutes. Update, 10 minute delay. I'd much rather they said 20 minutes delay to begin with rather than teasing.
Allocation of 3100, on sale from Saturday for Gold AST Holders
I would not be surprised if it's postponed til next season
Blocks 113, 116, 117 & 118 showing as no tickets available. Have we really sold that many to gold AST’s already?
Presuming still many more blocks to come onto sale
114 and 115 showing only yesterday. Guess they will put other on one at a time
