Well what a first 2 years we’ve had culminating in an unbelievable summer window , SIX NEW signings plus loans turned to permanent for most of our key players from last season .

We now have a wonderful squad and this is supplemented with some really promising youngsters , we will strengthen again I’m sure in January where ever Nuno feels appropriate.

We probably missed out on 1 or 2 targets but overall WOW !

Thanks Guo ,Jeff , Laurie , Nuno et al , I never in my wildest dreams thought we’d compete at this level once again .

Good luck from all at Manchester Wolves .

    See you tomorrow.

I agree...I do have questions regarding our transfer dealings and I'm a happy clapper. BUT! Lets see how we handle Everton.

Bang on. If this 10 year project continues at this pace what a 8yrs we have to come. I must admit to worrying what would happen afterwards if after the 10yrs FOSUN want out. I'm no longer concerned for 2 reasons. 1) I think they will be here longer & 2) if they do look to sell we will be such an attractive prospect we will be snapped up for many hundreds of Millions by a reputable buyer.

Happy Days as the OP says Thank You FOSUN you have made it possible for a lifelong 51yr old Wolves fan extremely happy.

I’m probably one of a few who was happy with our business yesterday, Wolves were after young versatile players and they have got another one in Dendoncker. I think we can get away with our another wing back personally unwell we are very unlucky with injuries and it’s only 20 games until Jan. I’m a huge fan of vinegre and think he will be used a lot more than last season as he has been made permanent. The coaching team will work on players like traore to fulfill their potential. I think we have plenty of money in January to beef up the squad if we need to and I think we will. Nuno, Jeff, Laurie and Guo/Fosun are bringing exciting times to molineux, enjoy the ride starting tomorrow! COYW

They definitely deserve a thank you. Deadline day is a bit like New Years; it gets hyped up like we're about to sign a whole new team of world class players so when we get 1 or 2, it seems bad. I'm quite happy with this window; there have been some question marks e.g. selling Douglas, but we are in such a better position under Fosun than we ever were with Morgan.

Two amazing summer transfer windows, you are never going to convince all of your targets to join, but we have attracted some amazing talents, we have never had such ambition at the club.

I have to say after so many years of frustration and false dawn's, fosun have spoilt us in the last 2 years. Human nature is such that we are never completely satisfied. But I for one will be eternally grateful for the effort and investment that has been put in by our owners and their staff. With just a day to go before we once again mix it at the big boys table I have not been this hopeful and excited for decades. Thank you Jeff, Nuno, and all the staff and players for giving us this opportunity

  11. Great new signings and exciting times hopefully await us.
A few own goals though, increase in ST, the £70 queue jumping scheme, how Douglass was handled......
Obviously, on a whole the club has got alot bigger and successful. Just hope they tread carefully with our traditions going forward, wim a proud passionate bunch and on a whole alot bigger than superstar players.
****ing buzzing for this season, Come on me babbies.

It's been an amazing window without doubt. Best Wolves side in my lifetime and it's just got stronger.

I know we 'could have' done with a wing-back but in reality other than pulling out a worldy it wouldn't have changed the starting 11 and would be there as cover for injury and suspension. If I'm honest I want to see Vinagre given a chance this year so think we'll be fine. We'd be unlucky to lose both Doc and Jonny at the same time for more than the odd game between now and Jan. Injury to Doc sees Jonny go RWB and Vinagre LWB. Injury/suspension to Jonny see Vinagre come in. I'm sure in an emergency we could use a youngster or even Phil-Ofosu

Feel like a kid on Christmas eve right now.

    Good work so far.

    BUT ...

Can you get someone to sort out the Online Merchandise Offer, please? It is amateurish and it does you (and us) no credit. Poor website, poor pictures, poor descriptions, slow delivery, stock issues ...

It could ... and in this day and age, it should ... be so much better than it is.

What the cap-doffing, forelock-tugging ‘ever-so-humble Mr Copperfield’ future?

When I wake up on Xmas morning I don’t get off on rifling through a pile of receipts left at the end of the bed. I like to have a good look at the goods before I start doling out the acknowledgments. I’ve seen the price tags, now I want to see what’s in the box.

Besides, you know I can’t cope when things are going well. I came out in a nasty rash when we got promoted and this Fort Knox trolley dash has all been a bit too much if I’m honest…..

I was excited for last season's opener, this year it is OFF THE SCALE.

One game at a time lads, enjoy the ride.

Thankfully I am able to watch all the games this season, so that's a bonus if I am unable to get tickets.

    Well said Tony!

Amazing transfer window. You can whinge all you like that we didn't sign a wing back or another striker, but for me this is the best group of players I've seen play for Wolves. And they're the guys who are gonna carry us through to January at least. They need our support, it's a tough league. Let's make some noise tomorrow, sing our hearts out and roar them on! Come on you Wolves!

Id like to add my thanks to Fosun for at least giving us hope,we have had precious little of that for a long, long time
Great business in the window, yes a few question marks, but overall great
Just hope the fans have patience,it will take a few games for us to gel and players to get up to speed im sure, and results will not always go our way,but i hope for a decent season and some flowing football, ive a feeling the Prem will know all about us in a few months,we are not making the numbers up this time

I’ve had a plan in the back of my head since the end of last season to have a visible show of appreciation to Fosun in the stadium. I’ve done a lay out plan in Chinese already. I mentioned this a while ago and had a mixed response if I remember correctly.

On the back of this new thread, I wondered what the feeling was about such a display now. I have already discussed this with the club and have permission to do a display, but obviously it would be wrong to ask the club to pay for something that is in effect thanking themselves.

It has to be seen as coming 100% from the fans of course, obviously I can provide the means to arrange the labour aspect, but the cost of display material would have to be financed by the fans by some sort of crowd funding. Any amount raised over the cost could go towards Cure Leukaemia.

I’ll find out how much it would cost and get back to you, but in the meantime if anyone would like to give their opinion on this idea, please do.

Thank - you Fosun from the bottom of my heart. I think even if it doesn't work out (which I doubt) you have done really well by this club and I have never enjoyed football so much. I could get really emotional thinking about how thankful I am. See you tomorrow!

    "Wolves... everyone's second team..."

Alan Smith (the ex-Gooner) has tipped Wolves to secure a mid-table finish, with the newly-promoted side likely to be "an exciting team to watch after some incredible signings and could be everyone's second team".

Predicted Premier League table 2018/19: Alan Smith's verdict

For many years I've attended matches fearing the worst but living in hope.To a point I was in a zombie like state attending through habit more so than desire. Yes we've had a few highs but my expectations were VERY low. Once Morgan decided to sell I started dreaming again, once Moxey left I'd go as far as to say I started fantasising.
I like most people had never heard of Fosun. Who are they I said, more importantly how much are they worth? (we all thought it). Many a billionaire has bought a club and spent nowt so are we going to be blessed or just another toy for someone.

Simple answer, we are blessed, blessed beyond our wildest dreams!. What Fosun have done through their investment thus far, and the people they have subsequently employed/promoted to control their investment, is mind blowing. For the first time in my life I am truly in awe of our owner and his company. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the way we are conducting ourselves, and the image of our club is superb I must say. Colleagues at work are openly telling me they are jealous, this has never been said to me before. These are fans of Man Utd and Aston Villa who have only ever looked down on us. They believe we are united in ambition from boardroom to terrace and this is very rare commodity indeed. To hear opposition fans sharing their honest views of us, and showing such open adulation for OUR manager, well, it leaves me in a state of pride to the point of a sly tear.
Without getting carried away, i'd like to think we are on the way to reaching that enviable position of being assured Premier League football year in year out. Nothing is guaranteed yet, but I do think this is the very beginning of that imo.
For those of us like me getting on a little who thought our glory days were behind us, who knows ?. The only thing I do know is none of this would have been possible without Fosun. For that I will be eternally grateful.
