Couldn't see this started yet (Please merge if so).

Providing everyone is feeling fit after the internationals I would keep with the team that played Burton and just change Deslandes for Coady on the bench (possibly also Douglas for Ronan). Reinforces you will keep your place if the team does really well in the previous match.

    Batth
    Miranda

You seem to have forgotten Batth or dropped him from the team altogether?

    Boly - Coady - Miranda

    Doherty - Saiss - Neves - Douglas

    Costa - Jota - Cavaleiro
I think a little more experience is needed in this situation, hence not picking Vinagre at LWB, but if Nuno decides he's ready for a game with high expectations from the crowd I'm behind it. Boly comes back in if fit, and if not Danny presumably plays. Jota, Costa and Cavaleiro should be able to do some damage to their backline. They'll rip Alan Hutton to shreds, I'm sure of it. Perhaps bring Bonatini on later for Costa, as we did at Burton.

Hoping Boly is back, if so I would put him at the back with Miranda and Batth.
Douglas should start if he's now fully fit.
Costa and Jota should be our two wide forwards with Cav playing the false 9 role.
Saiss and Neves in the middle.

    Ruddy
Boly (if fit, otherwise Bennett) Batth Miranda
    Doherty Saiss Neves Douglas
    Costa Cav Jota

SUBS: Norris, Coady, Bennett, Vinagre, N'Diaye, Bright, Bonatini

I don't think Hutton has been playing for them much recently, pretty sure it has been El Mohammady but he too would get ripped to shreds by the front 3.

I would bring Douglas back in for the same reason you have plus he is a bit better defensively so will help nullify the threat from Snodgrass

For me we need Batth in that back three to deal with Kodjia, he's a real handful. We saw what Zohore did to us, don't want to see that happen again. But otherwise, completely agree with your team. Terry and Chester are good defenders, but lack the mobility to deal with that front three.

    Ruddy
    Miranda Batth Boly
    Doherty Neves Saiss Douglas
    Costa Jota Cavaleiro

Villa's Neil Taylor is suspended and they don't really have cover at left-back. Means James Bree will probably fill in there. Young, inexperienced, out of position and likely to be up against Helder Costa!!

Douglas is a better defender than Vinagre so he needs to play to nullify Adomah, as they will be stronger on their right flank than on their left, with a rooky left back coming in. I also thought Coady was banned for 3 games for his straight red. Costa could start but maybe not last the full 90 minutes.

With the surprise return of Costa the other week you just never know who’s fit. I quite like not knowing in a weird sort of way and it can’t help opposition managers either. Anyway here goes what I would pick:

    Ruddy
Boly( if unfit Bennett) Batth, Miranda
    Doherty Vinagre
    Neves Saiss
    Jota Bonatini Cavaleiro

Subs: Costa, Bright, Marshall, N’Diaye, Douglas, Hause, Norris

Amazing to think that Costa would not be in my team and Coady wouldn’t even be a sub. I think Villa might try kick us off the park and with Costa having only come back recently I wouldn’t risk him for the full game. Im hoping Bonatini is refreshed after a couple of weeks off too. As for Coady, he ****ed up the other week and cost us the game. He needs to wait for his chance again like Batth and Bennett did patiently.

Nothing to suggest Boly will be back, and I would prefer the attacking option of Wilson over Marshall on the bench. I would chose the experience and quality of Douglas over Vinagre despite his superb performance against Burton. and it's a toss up between Saiss and N'Diaye for a start in CM.

    Ruddy
    Coady Batth Miranda
    Doherty Neves N'Diaye/Saiss Douglas
    Costa Cav Jota

Snodgrass plays on the right now, since which Adomah has switched the the left hand side where's he's been playing well.

Likely to be De Laet at left-back, will be a weakness, but he does have experience of playing there whilst at Middlesbrough.

It's getting harder and harder to pick a team! As Nuno tends not to make many changes though:

    Ruddy

    Batth/Boly Coady Miranda

    Doherty Saiss Neves Douglas

    Costa Jota Cavaleiro
I really wouldn't be unhappy to see Bonatini starting though, and a tight game, last half hour we have Cav/Costa, Bright and N'Diaye to come on?? And Douglas to start for me, this game might be a bit too much too soon for Vinagre

Bonatini has to start for me.
Wear them down and hit them with Cav from the bench

    Ruddy.
    Boly, Coady, Batth.
    Doherty, Neves, Saiss, Douglas
    Jota, Bonatini, Cavaleiro.

In view of lack of match fitness I would leave Costa on the bench.

Harsh decision I know but thought Bennett looked more solid at Burton so deserves his chance. I think we need coady in the middle for a home game and went for Hause over Batth as back up CB. Considered having both Hause & Batth on bench and leaving Ronan off but again because its a home game I went with Ronan. Nothing against Danny but just proves the strength in depth we now have because Boly should be back soon too

Stick with the same team as Burton.

Only question for me is does coady get straight back in?

    If Coady is back then...

    Ruddy

    Miranda
    Coady
    Boly

    Doherty
    Neves
    Saiss
    Vinagre

    Costa
    Jota
    Cavaleiro

I feel harsh leaving Bonatini out to be honest but sweet lord, that front three on paper...

I think it is just a testament to how well the team played at Burton & the strength in depth we now have that there are no guarantees you will walk straight back in to the team following an injury or suspension.

I think he will start and making a change to what i have previously thought & said i think he should come back in actually. I think playing at home against a Villa team i expect to sit in and look to counter/be direct i think his distribution from the back could be crucial.

So my adjusted team would now be
    Ruddy
    Batth Coady Miranda
    Doherty Neves Saiss Douglas
    Costa Cavaleiro Jota

Bench: Norris, Bennett, Vinagre, Price, N'diaye, Bonatini & Bright

Finding it a bit odd how most people gave Vinagre MOM at Burton yet most are putting Douglas back in to start. Let the young lad carry on i say.

This is a far bigger test defensively, he hasn’t failed well when he’s been tested yet (Barnsley and Bristol City).

I thought he was excellent against Bristol City. I'll be surprised if he is dropped tomorrow after such a good game and a real show of trust and faith in him from Nuno

Bonatini is good playing with his back to goal; but with the experience of Terry & Chester I do wonder if this might be playing into Villa's hands. Whatever tactics Nuno goes for, he knows his stuff and his backroom team will have identified the vulnerabilities in Villa's set up.

As cliched as it is, it's a local derby and anything can happen. As long as it results in a Wolves' win... I don't care!

Then you wouldn't have a single defender on the bench? It's getting tough to chose a squad let alone a first 11!!!!

He was good going forwards but he was exposed defensively, Villa will be aggressive and hit diagonals to Elmohamady who will have the beating of Vinagre all day in the air. I really like him but think we need more steel and experience for this game.

I actually completely forgot about Marshall! I would swap Marshall on the bench for Price in that case. I think we need to have a CB on the bench just in case. I know Saiss is more than capable of playing in the back 3 but I would
