Very surprised for the number of calls for Saiss to be in over Neves. I actually think Neves could be crucial for us to get up the pitch in this game. There will be spells where we are penned back and having him able to hit the long range passes like he can will get us out. The ball over the top to Jota will be on so many times in this game i think. They only have to get it right once...

I’d pick Neves for this one.

Luckily Nuno will be picking the team and Neves is bound to be in it

We have to be on the front foot in a packed Molineux.
Give their defence something to really worry about and unleash Adama from the off.

    Genuinely in two-minds over this.

Half of me wants to mix it with them, take them on with Vinagre and Traore and swashbuckle the **** out of them - make the Red Devils panic and turn tail. The other half wants to be cautious and go with the regulars with a controlled plan.

    It's the Cup.

Got a feeling Nuno could well start with the attacking plan. No matter, Neves has to be playing.....he can deliver the necessary passes either way.

This is surely a game where Neves could very well shine....

I think people need to understand the role Neves is being asked to play for the team this season. Last year against lesser teams he was allowed more of a free role to shine individually but this season he has been more of a team player constantly covering for when any of the defenders have gotten themselves out of position which has made him a vital role in the team but maybe not the crowd pleaser as he was last season. I think the only way we will see Neves playing more of a Moutinho role is if Saiss was playing behind him covering the defence

The team for me picks itself. I can't believe some of the Neves comments. For me he's been class this season and i think people have started to take him a little for granted.

There is one man who can single handedly get us up the pitch but he won’t start

It’s the Mitre ball in the FA Cup - Neves *loves* how this this ball moves in the air. It suits his striking style much better than the Premier ball. Just watch the quality of his first few long range shots then get a cheeky bet on him scoring from outside the box. He’ll play and (probably) score.

I assume you are referring to Traore? I agree he can get us up the pitch all on his own however he isn't good enough defensively to play at rwb for this game & the Jimenez/Jota partnership is flourishing brilliantly so would be foolish to split that up.
Traore will have a part to play in the game but it will be from the bench.

Won a few bets on him last year through sticking a fiver on him to score from outside the box. You could generally get odds of around 14-1/18-1 all season. The odds on it this season are generally poor now he's in the limelight more though!

Isn’t it fantastic that we now are discussing which players who start because Nuno has a quality squad.
Some are actually suggesting Neves shouldn’t play because we have good options.....we’ve come a long way.
When Neves and Bennet were suspended, and Jonny was injured,we had quality players ready to play. We have great players sitting on the bench vying to get regular spots....
Dendoncker, Saiss,Vinagre,MGW,Cavaleiro,Traore to name a few.
It’s been a long, long time since we were so strong. Love it.

Neves must play. He, Moutinho and Dendonker are a settled combo, who will know exactly what's required from midfield to win this game. Saiss will be a great option off the bench to cover midfield or defensive changes. Likewise Traore off the bench if we need him. The only surprise I'd like to see is Vinagre in for Jonny.

Agree Saiss on the bench for United game but otherwise a bit harsh. He's been absolutely brilliant when called upon e.g. Boly's suspension and last week standing in for Benno. It's not easy coming in cold like he has done most of the season. I think he's slotted in and has done what has been asked of him, more even e.g. goals scored. What have you seen that you don't like/ what does he have to do to impress you (remembering this is a family show)?

I really like Vinagre’s attacking and the potential of that, either as getting an assist or scoring, but I think Jonny is a better defender.
    In Nuno we trust.

Maybe I am being far too critical and unfair of Jonny but I think he lets players get past him and crosses in far too easily. But agreed in Nuno we trust - 100%!

Tomorrow night, my baby faced 35 year old daughter will be screaming her head off in the hope of seeing her team at Wembley, she isn't old enough of course to have been there in 1980 , and what a day that was. She supports Wolves because I do, I support the Wolves because my Dad did, and started taking me in 1967. He sadly passed away in 2003 weeks before the play off final against Sheffield United
He was looking down on us that day , and he'll be watching tomorrow night, God how I miss him
There'll be tears of joy from us both if we win, because I'll be thinking of him,and the happy times we have had at Molineux
    Please make it happen

I think it will be the same team as against Arsenal apart from Ruddy coming in. The only question is will Saiss keep his place after aan excellent game or will Bennet come back? Don't mind either personally.
Surprised to see so many calling for Vinagre over Jonny, yes he's an exciting prospect and will no doubt play more as he gains experience but for me Jonny is our best and most consistant defender, Vinagre is quicker and gets forward better but end product isn't much different to Jonny imo.
The game could well go similar to last weekend, which might upset a few but I'm not sure we can go toe to toe with Man U........yet

The fact Herrera is back is bad news for us. Such a hardworking midfielder with quality as well. Him, Pogba + one other will be a right battle against our three. Hopefully they don't chuck him straight in. I'd prefer them to play the show pony types who will be put off by the atmosphere and a bit of rain.

The impression I get from United is they too like to counter attack when away from home. All the fans on their forum are under the impression we will have plenty of the ball and be vulnerable on the break. I say that's very unlikely, we will treat this like an away match.

Nuno Espirito Santo reveals his squad has "some" injury problems heading into the

quarter-final tie with Man United, but the #Wolves boss did not name individuals. John Ruddy will start in goal and Ryan Bennett is available as his ban must be served in the PL.
