Once again, working with Wolves Heroes website, we are asking you to put forward questions for a former Wolves player. This time Kenny Hibbitt will be in the spotlight http://www.wolvesheroes.com/2010/12/14/hibbitt-next-in-line/
Kenny is one of THE iconic players for a generation of Wolves fans, so hopefully plenty of good questions will be forthcoming from MolMix members.
If you can post them here by the end of the year please. Thanks![IMG]

How much of a wrench was it leaving Wolves after nearly two decades at the club?

If you could go back in time and chose again do you think you would do anything different ? Given your "handicap" would you have liked to be a pro golfer instead ?

If you were part of a midfield 4 in the current wolves team which players would you like to play with. Assuming Guedioura and Kightly are fit!!!!

Did you ever feel that a move from Molineux might have got you England recognition? Was there ever any interest from bigger clubs?

    F A Cup Semi-Final at Hillsborough 1981 - was it a dive?

How did you feel when you returned to Molineux as Bristol Rovers coach in the late 80's? - I remember it as one of the most emotional moments I can recall.

Best goal scored for the Wolves?

    Best Manager worked for?

How did it feel when the decline hit the club in the early 80's?

The present younger generation of Wolves fans have never seen a real quality central midfield unit (bar an ageing trio of Ince, Rae and Cameron) that you were part of, although there have been quality individual players inbetween times. I feel this constant neglect of that midfield unit by a succession of Wolves managers reflects our lack of relative success on the field. Just how important do you feel a quality central midfield unit is, because so often all I hear is fans calling for a new striker or defender?

Secondly, you will know just how beneficial a hemmed-in Molineux can be. How much do you think Steve Morgan's exciting plans for a more atmospheric Molineux will benefit the club?

You played with some great forwards over the years ... Doog, JR , Curran, Gould, Gray [whilst also scoring more than your fair share yourself]. Which forward did you have the best playing relationship with?

What do you consider was the best year of your Wolves career in terms of [1] personal achievment and [2] The best side we had ?

If it hadn't been for the distraction of the UEFA Cup do you think Wolves could have challenged seriously for the league title in 71/72 with a stronger run-in after the away win at Old Trafford in January ? Was fixture congestion / injuries an issue or was the focus purely on the UEFA cup ?

Do you have many memories of the UEFA Cup Final ? I can remember the disappointment in the second leg after playing so well and only getting a draw.

Sammy Chung always seemed an odd choice as manager yet he was reasonably successful. What are your memories of his tenure at the club ?

John Barnwell's car accident .. if this hadn't happened were we only one or two signings away from greatness in 1980 ?

In 82 / 83, after the Bhattis / Dougan had taken over, we had a blistering start which became mediocre in January and then worsened towards the end of the season. History shows this was the turning point for our serious decline. What do you remember about this period ? Was there a clear sign to the playing squad in Jan 1983 that something was [very] seriously wrong which caused this turnaround ?

Having been on the playing staff during the demise of your hometown club Bradford PA you must have thought lightning was striking in the same place when Wolves went out of business in 1982. What was the feeling in the squad at the time ? Was there optimism or did you all assume it was the end and you'd all be looking for new jobs ?

Do you remember scoring that goal against Bolton on the last day of the 1977 season [when we were already crowned champions the previous week at home to Chelsea] ? - I seem to remember a little flick from Willie Carr and you volleyed it in ? Was the team pleased it had kept Bolton down and helped Cloughie a second time; this time getting promotion with Forest ?

Mr Hibbitt - you were one of my favourite players - did you ever play in Singapore with England "B" in the late 70's with John Richards, Steve Daley and Mel Eves? I was probably the only Wolves fan in the crowd that day and for some reason I remember you being in the team. Unfortunately I was in the army then and couldn't get autographs.

    1) Of all the games you played, which ones stand out in your memory and why?

    2) You had 17 goals in one season ('74-'75?) and tied with Frannie Lee as the leagues top scorer, but you still couldn't break into the England team. How you never got an England cap is beyond me! What do you think stopped you from getting a cap?

    3) Do you think the best Wolves teams of the '70's would've been able to hold its own in the Premier League today?

    Thanks very much

I think one of your very first games was against the Albion where we lost, do you have any happier memories of local Derby's?

Can I just add to Rean's question - what was the loudest crowd you ever played in front of?

Kenny thankyou for your part over the years in giving us great football ( at times :D ). There have been some great questions so far and I hope you can spend the time to answer them.
If I can add one. How did you feel when you knew Wolves wanted to sign you as you were quite young, and how does it feel to look back on it now?

I am sure you never played League football with your late brother Terry, is that correct and if so what was the highest level that you played at together?
