Hope not kyboshing it, but as more best in decades, records fall...

"Wolves have scored three goals or more in three consecutive top-flight matches for the first time since 1980.

They last did so in four straight games in January 1961...."

    Wolverhampton Wanderers v Newcastle United

...also, succour if a lower scoring win...

"A fourth consecutive league victory would represent their best top-flight run since January 1972."

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez: "Wolves are doing well. They may be newly promoted but they spent more than £100m. They have champions of Europe and internationals in their side.

Is this right? Have we really spent £100m?

    Patricio 18m
    Dendonker 12m
    Traore 18m
    Boly 11m
    Jonny 15-18 depending on source
    Vinagre 2m
    Bonatini 5m
    Jota 12.5m
    Moutinho 5m
    Raul 3-5m loan fee.

That's as far as I remember. Could be more.

Transfermarkt puts us at a net 112 million euro spend.

140 odd million in purchases, but obviously some outgoings to offset it a bit.

He’s right but so have Fulham and look at them.
Anyone can throw money about. The fact our midfield three of Neves, Dendoncker and Moutinho cost 32 million is incredible at today’s prices and a credit to how we do our business.
