It's the inability to plan ahead though innit? I was looking forward to 3rd round day, can't make it now. Just like our Friday night fixture v bin dippers.

Don’t get me wrong I sympathise with any fan who genuinely can’t make an evening game

But had it been a Sunday it was the same time notice as us being notified it’s a Monday

For many it’ll be an excuse to moan

Unfortunately that was always going to be the issue with the Man City game. If City were picked for the Monday night game we would still be waiting. I have just coverd both options and booked cheap hotels Sat and Monday night with free cancellation but it is a pain.

Being of a partial Irish background I actually quite like Mrs Brown's boys. Like most stereotypes it at least smacks of the truth. When l call her Mrs Brown my mum isn't backwards in using Mrs B's favourite phrase ending with 'off' either lol..

The BBC decision is still a pain in the rear though ..

If we can fill our ground for a game like this (which we should), then shouldn't that reduce Liverpool's allocation? Never understand cup allocations.

Always thought it was a way of filling empties...

Away teams in fa cup are entitled to 15% of the capacity or as close as reasonable for segregation purposes hence why we will give Liverpool SB lower and the quadrant- so about 4.5k

Considering how many we got for the Leicester game in the cup this could well sell out tbf.

It's possible but I'm not sure. We would've played them a few weeks before, both teams will be heavily rotated, tickets are full price, it's on a Monday night and on free to view TV.

If we were in the Championship then I'd say it was a certainty.

No problem. Silly prices IMO - considering the circumstances. Anything to make a quick buck though I suppose. I think £20 for Adults and £10 for concessions around the ground would've been reasonable enough.

£27 for me to sit in my seat, with a season ticket I probably don’t pay that much per game in the League. Wasn’t there a really good offer last season for the Swansea game?

£6.10 more than a season ticket game in the BW.

Even if you did, it's better value. You don't get rotated teams in the league, I wouldn't be surprised if both sides made 8 or so changes for this, I think we have done so in pretty much every cup game under Nuno to date.

I think there was a good offer for Swansea last season yes and I think Leicester was around £15 earlier this season. I get that it's Liverpool we are playing but the attraction of the big tie is slightly devalued now we are in the Prem and play these sides twice a season.

Might have been nice to do something for the STHs, bit of a thank you for the support so far. £15 all over the ground something like that.

Yes I agree. It's especially poor value for STH's.

Good point. Such prices at a latter stage of the competition could be justified as you would see two strong sides going at it for a place at Wembley.

    Ahh, nice one. Cheers!

Good point. Hate to moan when we've had it pretty good for the last year or so but you wouldn't pay 25+ for a reserve game.
Maybe it's justified by it being on the BBC?

I'd be surprised, we usually make a good number of changes under Nuno in cup games, which I understand. Would expect Liverpool to do the same too after playing City on the Thursday before.

Tbh with it being on bbc, you would have thought we would want to fill ground, 20 and 10 would be plenty to watch what will effectively be a reserve game.

Far from it. Many people won't pay top whack for effectively a reserve fixture right after Xmas when they can watch it on TV.

Edited to add: Saw Pagey's similar post after l put this up.

    Great minds and all that.☺
What i wouldnt mind paying full whack for is seeing Dyche and Klopp sorting their differences, about tackles, out in a boxing ring. I reckon Dyche would have him 1st round.

Klopp claimed Burnleys tackles was a bit ott, and said to ref " i know its not fouling but you need to tell them they cant do that"
    Sounded like Wengers clone.

Youve never had a wolves fan in half the seats either. Empty seats all over the north bank on Wednesday again
