Discussion in 'Molineux Mix' started by Kashmire Hawker, Dec 6, 2018.
Just confirmed for Monday 7th January at 7:45pm, on BBC ONE.
Bring it on!
No surprise really, Will we know who we;re beating next by the time we start this one?
Bowing to Klopp I see.......
Means too that Manchester City at the Etihad could be moved:
"Wolves’ Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie with Liverpool will be broadcast live on BBC1 on Monday 7th January, 7.45pm.
The game has been handpicked by the BBC, who will broadcast the cup tie live from Molineux as the Premier League pair battle it out for a place in the last 32.
The draw for the Fourth Round will take place immediately after full-time, also live from Molineux.
Should the tie finish level and result in a replay at Anfield, or Manchester City are held by Rotherham, Wolves’ Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium will be brought forward to Sunday 13th January.
The trip to Manchester is currently scheduled for Monday 14th January, so supporters are strongly advised to delay arranging any travel and accommodation for the game.
Ticket prices and dates will confirmed in due course."
That's me out then, already two home night games In January, not to mention Saturday early kick-off.
Is this the 1st time a Wolves match will be shown Free to air on UK television since 2010?
This was always the case
(see PL matches for live TV in December and January)
No, January 2012. The glorious 3rd round replay exit at home to Blues was "enjoyed" by the nation on ITV1.
That was only my 2nd ever game I saw!
A **** poor performance, sitting very cold and seeing it tipping it down, in the Billy Upper with an old Youth Club.
How the **** is anyone meant to plan anything for Man City .
**** off sky and Fa
****ing get in there I couldn't make the weekend but can make it now
What a game that was. In fact both the original tie and the replay were absolutely ****.
Not gonna lie gonna probably bottle this and watch it at home now.
I'll be sick of drinking by then, already seen us play Liverpool just 2 weeks before, cold, depressed as **** after going back to work and skint.
make it £15 adult and kids a fiver otherwise they are in trouble of seeing a few empty seats imo with it being on bbc
I will have 1080 loyalty points after the Fulham game so couldn’t afford to allow everyone get an extra 10 points on me so I will be there.
Not bad considering I only went to one away game last season
So we may not actually know when we're playing Man City until 10pm on Monday 7th, less than a week before the game.
Superb planning by the FA/PL/Sky...
Oh at those prices I'd definitely go, can't see it though.
Good for me as I can watch it. Bit of a farce with the City game so soon after though, in terms of the date of the match possibly changing at such short notice. Be nice if we were still in the draw that comes straight after!
**** off BBC. This is the worst decision since you made another series of Mrs Brown's Boys.
I wouldnt worry about loyalty points, away ticket madness has calmed down. Newcastle gen sale and Fulham will be easy to get. Thanks to sky.
****ed off its on tv tbh. Monday night, everyone skint and back to work.
Fixed that for you
Weird that one innit. Everytime i watch it which is usually the last 5 mins b4 MOTD i just dont find it funny at all. Other people seem to love it
**** that for a game of snooker. That me scuppered then. No chance of making a Monday night kick off. Oh well.
Yes I realise that the other changes are down to Sky but this is on the Beeb
My birthday is on the Sunday we play City away
No hope of getting to either games because of work meaning I pay my license fee to get ****ed and ruin all my plans
**** you BBC
BBC Sport website re-showing highlights of our Cup game with Liverpool last year, yes, last year!!!!!! In the calendar year 17-18 our side has gone from Burgoyne, Stearman, Edwards, Weimann, Bodvarsson to Patricio, Boly, Neves, Jiminez and Jota!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!
Day I go back to work after Xmas too, bleurgggh!
The Klopp obsession continues with the media, look forward to knocking them out. By 9.30 they'l be out of every competition for another season.
Can not wait, let's smash the plastics
Due to sky moving Liverpool game to the Thursday before mainly I guess .
First day back at work - gonna struggle to make this
That would be a dream
Total *******s, they need to make that £10. Monday night after Xmas.
Pleased it's not the Sunday as Me & the Mrs have a lunchtime flight so Monday night is better
Might have to see if the bar / restaurant has it on, Do they know Wolves in Portugal ?
Firstly Liverpool was always going to be on tv - much rather a Monday night under floodlights like last night rather than Sunday lunch when atmosphere is flat as witches chest.
As for mancity it’s a pain in the ****, but just excuse some not to go and give it big un! You were never booking trains on Monday as wouldn’t get back so unless something major stops you going on Sunday instead (apply odd 1-2 people) then what’s the issue
Selfishly, I hope City ends up on the Sunday.
About time Wolves got on proper TV
Pray for a snow day @JadeWolf ! Which miraculously melts in time for the game
I see Man Utd have their obligatory game on live, home against the might of Reading. What the hell is the point?United will probably pick an understrength side ,Reading will huff and puff and it will no doubt finish 4-0 to the home team.
Yes I realise the game on BT will attract more advertising revenue but other than the 2 teams who cares? It will be their 64th tie out of 65 broadcast live dating back to 2005.
Mid-table Prem team at home to a bottom 3 championship team, not exactly exciting!
Our reserves v theirs
