This deserves a thread of its own now. Unbelievable.

Can’t be down to just luck. We literally never give up.

It was with a sense of relief that we scored. Other games I've lifted the roof. Tonight, I just laughed.:D:)

I was on the bog when we scored. Is it a sign?

I think it's partly fitness. And partly when opponents have been run into exhaustion defending against us.

It's the case of fitness and character. Which obviously points to the backroom staff and the big man himself. Big money, great players yes, but Nuno and his team are our biggest asset.

It's like old Taylor days. I knew we would score. Screamed the place down melatonin, xanax and ovaltine at the ready now

This is an under rated aspect of this. It takes stamina to maintain intensity all the way through a game and not only physical but mental too.

Also no coincidence that our injury record is excellent too.

    Zenga's legacy!

"The ball is never out, the game is never over"

Can think of seven injury time goals that have earned results for us under Nuno, people still stream out way before the end!

I didn't leave my seat. I still had half a pint left down the pub.

This team never stops. The way they came at Newcastle after the goal was great; the way we kept going till the end was superb, such belief. It felt like a win that. Come on me babbies!

Interestingly a non-Wolves friend text me after the game, generally he’s been pretty pro-Wolves this season, saying he fears for us next season as we’ve relied on so many late goals and beating the big teams whilst struggling against the rest.

Not really sure why I’m sharing this, but just thought it an interesting observation.

13 points is what the late goals and wins against the big teams (counting them otherwise as defeats) have earned us, so taking all of it away we'd be 16th, 2 clear of the relegation zone and a point off 13th. With draws instead of wins against Chelsea and Spurs we'd be 13th

Thing is, we won't need the late winners next year;)

He makes a very fair point about what has happened this season so far but whether his conclusion is a reasonable extrapolation of his correct observations is a different matter. I felt that it would be a 1-1 draw anyway so I see it as a point retained rather than 2 lost.

We certainly need to strengthen but next years games will be a different kettle of fish altogether.

The game isn’t over until the whistle goes. It’s a credit to the team that they don’t give in and keep going when the opponents think it’s all over !
    Well done lads.

The lovely thing is that 2 of the late goals have been against Benitez. He’ll be cursing those 4 points.

Not only Newcastles hopes of the 3 points that went down the pan on 94m 34s then.

Hopefully next season whilst we may not pick up the points against the top sides we have the recruitment and experience of those that stay will mean the point we drop against lower sides will be less too so should even itself out. Even better if we beat the sides we should and still pick up a few against the top six could mean were top six.

Even the North Bank is beginning to learn - only around 300 or less had left when Boly scored.

Scoring late goals never seemed to be a problem for Manure during the Fergie years. So many late goals is more than a coincidence, maybe we are a super fit team that keep going until the final whistle.

In addition to the late goals against West Ham, Leicester and Newcastle x 2, we have had Shrewsbury in the Cup and goals against Bournemouth and Southampton which sealed 2-0 victories. That is more than luck

Fantastic spirit, character and never give up attitude so, so proud of the boys. This is the one side of football that money cannot buy but is so important in any successful team.
The flip side....players not trying and managers getting sacked because of it or successive relegations....gives me shivers even thinking about that now.

And a mentally tough one that doesn't give in. Not the best of games last night, but a team full of character and guts. I despaired of ever seeing the like in my lifetime tbh.

I was hoping for one more chance to nick a winner last night. I think Benitez's head would have exploded.

I switched off the TV at 94 minutes and maybe 5 seconds after what I thought was our last chance was gone. Imagine my confusion afterwards.

Just like Benitez, I forgot about the substitute 30 second thing ! :D
