Didn’t you have a **** flag once hanging from your room with Matt? Your old housemate?
That might be **** fan Powelly from Gornal on that the rivals flag. If it’s him don’t know why he’d do that as he hates Wolves being in a mostly populated wolves area
Name Powell under the **** badge and Wilkes under the Wolves.
Mid 90’s, Cannock, I’m interviewing for a new sales manager, one candidate ticks all the boxes, got to the last question, “who do you support?” He says... “The Albion of course, season ticket holder”
End of interview, informed him he was unsuccessful. He thought I was joking. My secretary has to come in with a sympathetic ear and explain how serious I was.
I’ve mellowed and matured a tad now but that flag disgusts me, I’d rather give them money to buy separate flags.
It’s a couple, the Albion fan is a woman.
Wolves screwing Albion again lol ..
Hope that its agreed that any offspring cannot be stripey .
Not completely happy with the flag.
I hate the Albion with a passion - football reasons only. They are not mass murderers, paedaphiles or rapists anymore than wolves fans are.
I think they are simply trying to show a representation from our small corner of the world in the Caribbean. I wouldn’t have the flag or show it. But whatever I’m not horrified. It emblazons the far superior wolf head after all.
Just not cricket is it !!
This half n half lark is Allan Bordering on hermaphroditic ..
Yuk. How anyone could date an Albion fan I’ll never know.
What a social media fuss about nothing. They obviously acknowledge their rivalry and put it aside for England duty. Something thousands of us do every time we travel away with England.
Not something I would do but it dow put my knickers in a twist!
Gone are the happy days when fans stood together in the south bank and the friendly rivalry was just about taking the pee out of each other.
Most of you probably weren't around in those days so you don't know what you missed. Real fans.
When was that? I've been going since the late 60s and can't recall it...
When was this the 1930's ?
I agree this is a fuss about absolutely nothing though
Aaaaand another reason why cricket is an absolutely dog **** sport!
I started watching mid 60's and didn't find the animosity anywhere near the level expressed on these pages.
I never actually stood on the SB with any of em, more in the street and later at work.
My ex brother in law however, was a vile fan who plagued me something rotten, me 10 years old him 22. And nasty with it, this dislike remains with me today.
P.s. my sister binned him many years ago.
They should get a divorce and have a ceremonial burning of the flag to celebrate the divorce then never speak again.
Vancouver truthfully much of the "animosity" is put on or deliberately overegged... Stadiums on match day actually aren't like armageddon...
I did say that most wouldn't remember those days, 1940s and 50s when we were top of the world! I could tell you a lot of stories about those days.
yeah, i saw my dad and albion grandad scrapping when i was 7 - would be 1955.
might have been all pally in leafy tettenhall, certainly wasn't in cradley heath
Afternoon all. Been made aware of this thread by a mate. I can own up and say the flag is mine and my Mrs. She’s obviously the Albion fan. We both love the cricket and wanted a flag to take out with us. Seemed daft to get two and we thought this would be a quirky/funny way to satisfy both of us. The way some of you lot go on, my Christ, get a grip, it’s only a bloody flag
