I just need to get this off my chest.

They are an abomination. Football is, was and always should be, tribal. We should alienate those who wear them. We are not a tourist club, we are Wolves. I would happily watch as the stalls of those people selling them, were torched to the ground.

If you wear one...you do not understand what football is about. The soul of football is being ripped out!

Make Molineux a half and half scarf free zone.

Someone obviously buys them otherwise nobody would sell them, but yes they are a disgrace to football.

Saw dozens of them at the Liverpool league game in the North Bank- mostly on people decked in Wolves shirts etc. I just don't get it, it's small time. Didn't go last night, but on TV there were loads of half and half scarves worn by Wolves fans. None by scousers that I saw.

I've always found grown ups wearing football shirts a bit wrong but each to their own

Need to start making it unacceptable for people to wear them at Wolves games.

Anyone wearing them should be treated like a lepper

I’d also advocate a good bit of mob rule and turning over the stalls that sell em.

They are indeed an abomination. There was a bloke on the front row just in front of me at the Utd away match wearing one. I suggested pushing him over the edge but my neice and nephew didn't take me up on it :):)

Just someone set a stall up next to the half and half scarf stand selling scissors that should sort it.

When I walked down the steps from the tube at Wembley there were 13 scarf sellers, 12 of them were selling half and half scarves and one all Tottenham ones. The only logic I could see was that if you want a scarf for your club you buy one every few years, but a half and half scarf is a bit like a souvenir of a particular game, notice these days they always have the date of the game, so really it's a marketing thing to sell lots of scarves every game. Still agree with the idea that nobody who wears one is a real football fan though,

I don’t really understand why people get so aggressive towards them, it’s a souvenir from a game. What about those game badges are they not as bad?
Would I wear one, not a chance I’ve got my 80’s scarf!

I associate these people in the same bracket as those tourist United fans who had their photos taken with Spurs Lucas Moura after he's scored two against them at Old Trafford. Knobs

Think it’s what it represents. (For me it is anyway)

People coming to see the away big team take selfies etc rather than support Wolves. You never got half and half scarfs for Wolves v Carlisle in league 1 did you.

What want to know is what happens to the ones they don’t sell? Like someone said earlier they usually have the date on them now so surely they are scrap if they don’t get sold.

Personally, I dont really get it. However, I don’t understand people watching the game on tv screens in a concourse or leaving their seats early.

Either can be a momento, years ago I used to buy the badges to collect, but they were put straight in my pocket, never on view because only old gold and black should be on show.
It's not easy to put a scarf in a pocket.

They shouldn't be on show. The end.

Don't like them but what can you do....it's the way it is these days.

I suppose in some instances it can be all about the circumstances, people move about and allegiances aren't what they used to be. They move locations for jobs and end up with partners who support other teams etc...it can all get diluted.

It's like Jade on here, if she ever has offspring they could quite easily turn out half-'n'-half with the Villa as a compromise.

    They're for tourists.
A pal and myself were grumbling about the stupidity of them at the Spurs game where there were hundreds of them. I know we have a few around the Mol but were amazed at how many there were. People were buying them to our astonishment but on the Tube there were a load of of folk wearing them and asking a few of them why we discovered that they were tourists coming over for a rare visit.

I wonder if they'd make Wolves/WBA half and half scarves, and if anyone would wear them? There'd be some nobheads who would.
