No idea mate I didn’t pay for a sleeve sponsor as had Neves and 8 on back too. Bloody love it though
Thanks for posting the puctures.
On you it looks more gold but on your other pictures it just looks pale yellow. To me it looked yellow on the streamed match yesterday too. Can well understand people swept along by the branding and the style -which is admittedly fine - but yet to be convinced by the colour but there again Im old school!
Made the same point on the match thread. Wasn't sure at the start of the game but a fan of the colour by the end.
I'm old school too and I love the colour because it reminds me of the kit worn by Doog, Richards, Hibbitt et al. circa 1971 the first time I saw them run out at Molineux. You must be a younger/older old school than me .
So much better and more distinctive than the Hull City-a-like darkish orange of all the recent Puma kits.
That's what confuses me.. "Old School" posters should relate to the colour.
It's the younger folk ,that have only known us play in Orange, that should have an issue getting used to it.
In the shop atm. Sold out of medium and large. Gutted carted the 2 young uns down the molineux with me from brum
Ironically the 2000-2002 kit was the closest to old gold and that started off the orange revolution
Thats a real shame, an update might have helped.
Really? I'd say the new kit has near enough nailed 'old gold'
Sold out again, useless really!!
That's a very bright old gold, typically its a brownish yellow. Can't see much brown in our shirt.
Pantone are usually regarded as an authority on colours. I know theres another version of old gold that looks more like a dirty brownish yellow, but this version of of old gold looks better imo, and is actually very close to our new shirts.
Realise that people are not on here 24/7 but it was mentioned yesterday,on this thread, that they had sold out
Here we go again
I received my top today and I absolutely love it.
The colour is not yellow at all, although interestingly, when I took a picture of it, it did seem lighter in the picture.
Best top I can remember us having.
Sorry to be a 'metro sexual' but the sponsor seems to be way to big. Does it look ok in real live?
Just a word for how comfortable it is. That’s where you notice the difference versus the cheaper brands.
That is the same colour as what they wore in the days of Knocker Knowles and the Doog. Gold is not orange ... it is very light.
Fair doos. Should have checked here or called the club shop first.
After the clubs email monday stating they had recieved stock of the short and would continue to throughout the week I was confident they’d have enough come today after going on sale monday.
Anyway the shop people said they were expecting a fresh delivery of shirts later today- so medium and large shirts should be back in store tomo. I’ll have to resort to ordering online. I’m fairly certain i’ll be a medium judging by the posts of my fellow mixers
My son went to the club shop today and bought himself a shirt.
And then he bought me one as well.
Love the colour. A proper gold.
The kit is beautiful. I will definitely be getting one because I doubt I’ll ever love one of our shirts as much as this one. The colour is perfect and I say this as someone who’s grown up watching us play in orange! Away kit is nice too.
Fantastic job by Adidas.
Went and got mine today, I know I'm not compact & bijou, last year my black away went up to 4XL, the previous I had was the blue/green silverbug that was a 2XL, tried the 2XL on and it was a tad tight as I like to wear a T under it in normal weather and would have been well too tight with a sweat under in the cooler months, so well happy with a 3XL which is now the top size, I can see a fair few Wolves fans either with super tight shirts or not buying one - got a black polo too, that looks great.
Any info on the away kit yet is it out tomorrow or the 16th????
Have to say I love the newest, picked ours up todfrom the post office due to a missed delivery.
Youngest lads shirt had a big hair melted into the transfer which is annoying so that’s going back.
Nice shirt though.
Anyone in the U.S received theirs yet, I haven’t yet.
Got mine today in the Netherlands. One of the prem badges is half hanging off because they didnt apply it properly.
People need to look at their ****ing wedding rings, the idiots. Not orange, are they.
Not out until the end of the month maybe early next month
I paid for the next day delivery at £10 and still haven’t received mine yet. I got an email response last night to say if it hasn’t arrived by next Tuesday to please contact them again!! That will be 10 days after it was due! My mate who lives by me and didn’t pay for faster postage received his on Monday.
If you don't want to post it back take it to av place that prints tshirts and get them to pop it under their heart press unless the patch is faulty it might save you the hassle
Am travelling down today to swap mine for a smaller size & see what else I can find for my hols tomorrow
I'll be down near the mol next week for the ajax game anyway, think I might pop into the store and have a chat with them. Every time I get something personalised its done in a way that I'm not really happy with. The name personalisation on my shirt last year had Neves literally right against the collar and the number was between my shoulder blades because they did it too high.
Just swapped my home shirt for a smaller size - loads of stock - also got a black polo shirt & 3/4 length training pants for hols tomorrow. Plenty of customers in the megastore. Happy days - Well done Wolves
This happened to mine a few years ago. You can try putting a tea towel over it on holding an iron on for 10 seconds.
it's not just you with that one. I think they print them that high on all shirts. Ordered the 3 shirts all at different time last year and they are all as high up as you say, think it's just how it is.
I think you question it more last season because the players names aren't that high up as the "paycare" logo was above it if I'm right. Be interesting to see how they're printed this season without that sponsor being on the players shirts.
My other half popped in the club shop this morning and got us both new home shirts but couldn't get a medium for my son as they are out of stock at the moment and she was told it might be a couple of weeks before they're back in.
I love everything about this shirt and it is even better than I dared hope it would be - the colour, style, fit and feel of the material is absolutely spot on. I found that the colour appears different depending on the angle you look at it, quite yellowish if you look across the material but darker when you look straight at it so it must be the way the light reflects on it.
Player numbers have always been roughly in the middle of the back side of the shirt as far as I can recall. Its only ever been the shirt I bought last year having this abnormal placement too. My ajax and older wolves ones all have no back of shirt sponsor and the numbers are right where they should be.
Yeah agree with that, the ones from the 1st season back in Championship are a lot lower.
The blue silverbug one however is high up, so not sure
Ahh, I didnt buy one from the silverbug year. The last wolves shirt I bought before the blue one of last year was the whathouse home kit from league 1.
Just been in and got a home shirt and a black v necked training t shirt. XL as I thought. They have a few in but not loads.
