Just shot into SB
Keep your head down.......
Does anyone know if Denise Butler from Telford still attends?
Lower or upper
Hope she didn't move to the Steve Bull.
A number of stewards around someone now apparently, the firework looked like it was fizzling out
That could be the end of the fireworks before a match (again) Hope no one got hurt.
Every game I watch in fear especally after that incident a few years ago. The first game i miss and this happens!
Just like west spams season
Won't be too disappointed about that
I used to live next door but one, on Court St, Madeley, Telford, A Dental nurse if I remember correctly.
Came down right next to me, hit a woman 4 seats away. She was fine.
pato on Twitter
Saw this from opposite and said to the other half that it looked like flares dropping off into the stand. Was a very strange atmosphere after that as the music had stopped and the staff were carting the pyrotechnic boxes away. Hope everyone involved is ok. I think that will be an end to the firework displays
I was sat in J6 and at that point the wind was blowing into the stand probably why the firework hit the roof
I hope this doesn't stop the fireworks, especially as nobody got hurt.. I managed to get in at 7.40pm for the first time in ages and it just felt flat without the usual pomp and sparkle.
Likewise - really like the fireworks/ flames - adds to the atmosphere imo.
I’d say there was a few burnt coats
Was sat in NL5 and it looked like the wind caught it. Before they took them away, the fire blasts they do were catching the wind and leaning over towards the stand too. Rightly caused a weird atmosphere around the ground, but really good to know nobody was seriously hurt.
That's the end of the fireworks then!
They are ridiculous anyway, it's a football match, not Diwali. The same with the DJ, get rid of it all.
Return of the Jiz...
Why don't we have brass bands marching round and go back to the 1890s....
If you want a crowd with an average age of 75 that's the way to go...
You may gather that l violently disagree.
Didn't know that she was from Telford let alone Madeley. Ended up, cos l have some leg issues (post op complications) watching the Flum away match in the Barley Mow...
Hope it doesn’t stop them...
Why are they so close to the stand anyways? Just take em on 10ft or point them towards pitch...
Agree DJ was poor... don’t like this 10sec song mixes... I much preferred the 2 min one song (faithless) intro with the lights n fireworks to end it... As cool as it is, just don’t drag it on.
As for people saying to end it all... that boring, having some entertainment and build up sets the scene, move with the times. And we get more value for money.
I don't care what they had in your day.
Hopefully doesn’t now sit in the Steve Bull. That would be very unlucky.
If l said what l think of you, you goddamn arrogant muppet l would be on a life ban. Let's just say that you are as much use as a third hand condom.
Someone on facebook saying they didn't play HI Ho Silver Lining...is that true?
Hope not, improve the management of them and keep them. They’re a great display and add to the atmosphere.
Certainly don't recall it being played.
Never gave it a thought but no they didnt
Yep... they didn’t play anything. Atmosphere went very strange before the minutes silence. Which was rudely interrupted by the West Ham fans...
Agreed. There must be safety criteria though. I've a feeling that today was marginal at best. I hope that they didn't push the envelope because of the damn DJ...
I think that it was only one who broke the silence... Sadly it seems that there is always one...
Don't remember it being played before first or second half
I don't care about your weird sexual habits either. What are you rambling on about?
Separate names with a comma.
