    7th - 10th…..with luck on our side. :)

The key is to not be tripped up with injuries to our key players as we have little cover with similar quality.

The Jan window could be booster but as we know the prices are inflated then.

Finishing in the top 6 would be unreal if we somehow managed it.

Seems to be a lot of realism on here now, which is a good thing. This first period will be about assessing how well equipped we are to achieve our aims, there maybe one or two surprises about who does and does not make the grade. We can at least be confident that we will attempt to address any shortcomings in the next two or three transfer windows and hopefully push on from there.
Exciting times to be a Wolves fan.

    I'm leaning towards 11th - 14th at the moment.

IF, we have a strong start and strengthen again in January, 9th is achievable imo.

I've also gone for 11th to 14th, think 13th, Pld 38 W11 D10 L17 Pts 43. Will probably finish up with egg on my face but will be interesting to see how things pan out.

11th and a Semi final in either League cup or FA Cup would be amazing

I am a natural pessimist when it comes to Wolves ( after over fifty years of them is it any wonder?!!) and I really dont have a strong sense of how we are going to do at all right now! Things have moved on considerably in the PL since last we graced the top flight, undoubtedly though we are far stronger going up than either of the previous times- and surely "too good to go down" if that isnt the kiss of death?! Ive gone for 17th!

Given the number of new players Fulham need to integrate I think it will take them a while to click. I think they will be bottom half next season and potentially top 10 the following one.

7-10th for me if we can have another year of good fortune with injuries. I think a solid start is essential for us, start with a flyer and who knows, start slowly and the pressure will be immense.

I personally think the club have been targeting 6th position during the off-season, Europa League qualification and justifiably able to sell the next phase of the project to a higher calibre of player again next year....the push for the top 4 and CL. A lot depends on whether their recruitment went to plan A or if they fell short, I'd love to know...I'm definitely not ITK!
Things have also been spiced up with a busy transfer window for those likely competing for these positions, hopefully this makes things more exciting for the league, wouldn't do it any harm.

Hold onto your hats ladies and gentlemen it's going to be a rollercoaster ride again for sure!

Own up, which 3 posters predict relegation?:(

I've gone for 11-14th, which would be success for me and a base to push-on from next season.

I think our own team last season put an end to a lot of the ‘need time to settle’ ideas. They have a good manager, good players, and a good style of play.

Just checking I've read this right. Portugal's #1 keeper, Portugal's third most capped player, a Mexican international forward, a rough diamond speed machine and one of Belgium's hottest prospects as well as tying up Jota, Boly, Bonatini and Vinagre to permanent deals while getting Neves to sign a new contract? That's slightly disappointing?

If pushed would go for 12th. A couple more quality signings in Jan then up that to 9th.

Where we finish isn't as important as when we were in the Championship, it's about staying up and improving the squad year on year until we have real strength.
For me the best thing about this season is that we have real quality players now, sure we will get a footballing lesson or two, but on our day we now have the quality to give anyone in this league a game whereas before we had to rely on luck, so suck up the bad days and enjoy the great days, what a great place for us to be now, bring it on.

If we play some really good football and avoid the need for any relegation scrap that would be both a fine and realistic target for our first season back in the Premiership.

Don't think qualifying for the Europa League would attract a better quality of player necessarily....Champions League, yes, but not the Europa League.

Sean Dyche has just said "this was my worst ever transfer window" despite qualifying in 7th place last season. Gibson and Vydra are his only two outfield signings (both championship) and they failed to persuade the relegated Sandwell Albion to sell Rodriguez and Dawson.

Difference with Burnley is that they're refusing to match wages with other teams in the division. For all they've achieved, and for all that Dyche is an excellent manager, they're still a Championship club at heart.

But, I agree, I don't think Europa qualification will make a huge difference in itself. A couple of top 6-8 finishes, though...

The difference is we mainly did our business early last summer, so that the guys had a full pre-season to get to know one another and how Nuno wanted them to play.
