I was thoroughly entertained last night and i can't remember the last time i came home from the Wolves being very happy and enjoyed a game of football so much.

we are improving every week and i am very excited about this season.

we deserved to win , we didn't and if your going to get promoted in this league you have to win or draw. last night wasn't a negative , we are only warming up !

I actually thought Bristol played some really good stuff too. Great advert for the Championship.

I thought it was a really entertaining game, only ruined by the ref. A complete contrast to last season when it was boring.

Play like that and we'll win more than we lose.

I agree about Bristol. Much better than I thought they would be.

The turning point for me was their penalty equaliser. We were right on top at the time.

Great entertainment. Cav and Jota were superb, and Bonatini fits in so well. The only player that disappointed me was Neves.

Games like yesterday's are like a heart attack waiting to happen for me.
I would have been entertained if I was a neutral, but the pant wetting when they went 2-3 in front nearly did me in.
I enjoyed the way we tore them apart, yes that was fun to watch, but I get too involved and can't enjoy the roller coaster.
Am I the only one like this?
Perhaps I need to find something else to be passionate about.

As a Wolves TV watcher, you can see the team developing each game, from tight at the back, to getting more expansive...and yes, very entertaining.

Get used to it i think. You have been served up so much boring dross over the years this is what football should be all about. Enjoy it!

They are a very good footballing side bobby Reid for them was superb (Dave Edwards with a bit more skill). Given the conditions both teams should take enormous credit for the football player, shame the same can't be said about the ref and the lineman at the north bank end.

same for me - I came away thinking I really enjoyed it , but could easily have exploded with the stress!!!

It was a great game, and it was really entertaining and high quality.

The main thing for me, if we play like that all season, and dont get too many injuries I am convinced we will go up

Bobby has come on leaps and bounds for us, wasn't playing last year and has been reincarnated as a striker and looks like a top player all of a sudden

When you compare last night to Wigan at home last season it's like we're watching a completely different sport.

Actually, I don't really give a monkeys if we're not promoted and we see games like that every week. A fantastic advert for the game, 2 teams trying to win, neither spoiling it with stupid dives and cheating and despite the referee trying to take centre stage, a thoroughly enjoyable night despite the weather.

Good thread - it's important to remember how far we have come in the last 6 months or so.

Compared with previous seasons this side is playing more entertaining football than we have seen for years. Considering they have only play seven games together I think they are doing fantastic. Already showing quality with the ball all over the pitch. I believe the results will improve as the season progresses and if we start stringing a few wins together could show a real good run of form.

Was not an " ideal " result but the positives are definitely there for sure . Bristol City looked decent too to be fair and I think they have also only lost once in the league thus far .
Still think we are the best side in the league.

No doubt about entertaining albeit I question some of the refs decisions. But I agree re Wolves improving. This is just a total of 9 games in with the Carabao cup and with injuries etc the team has not yet settled.

You are right, it was good to watch BUT I do give a monkeys because if we are not promoted this season we are almost certain to lose some, if not all, of our most exciting players in the summer.
