He was back at Compton this week. I thought originally he may have been recalled or returned for treatment, but I've since heard he's been fined by Kilmarnock for repeatedly turning up late for training. He wasn't in their match day squad for yesterday either.

    Terminated loan perhaps?

As some said, not suitable for a loan.

In no way means he should get kid treatment here though for his poor attitude.

He’ll end up drifting down the leagues.

No surprise, that’s why he was sent to Kilmarnock due to getting into trouble in Wolverhampton and club hoped he would mellow out.

Needs to grow up and fast

TBF I wouldn’t fancy that Wolverhampton to Kilmarnock round trip every day either, if he doesn’t get past Kendall services by 6:30am it’s nailed on he is going to be late.

I thought it was a strange move in the first place. I can't help but feel a bottom-half Championship or top-half League One club would have been better for him.

It's also why Villa and Albion both let him go as a youngster.

It was just after Bobby Robson let him go from Barcelona after his famous fallout with Gary Lineker.

Its such a pity looks like another wasted talent, he will be going down the same road as Jordan grahame if he is not careful, Nuno has shown plenty of patience with him but if this is true i would imagine thats it..

He might have had trials but wasn't at or let go by either.

Shame if this is the case though, he'd had a couple of starts and looked like he was going to become a major player for Kilmarnock before his injury. But constant lateness isn't going to go down well anywhere

I think this lad may have a fragile mental problem for some reason. I seem to remember that he wasn't sent on loan a couple of years ago because he needed a constant arm around the shoulder. At some stage though he has to grow up and stand on his own two feet.

He needs to go to Walsall or Coventry/Shrewsbury etc on a loan... He's got immense potential

Maybe he doesn’t want to play football at this level? Just because someone has ability, it doesn’t mean they’re cut out for all of the dedication involved.

He will NEVER have a better chance that making it at Wolves, and it’s still not engaging him. Just get rid.

Same here. An indefensibly poor footballer as well as a strop bag. Like Adama, he just doesn't have a football brain.

Agree, has a lot of talent. Would be a real shame if he messed up a potentially good career.

Would have been sent up there to develop and mature but it seems he's not yet up to it. It doesn't matter how local he is if can't get with the times to turn up and whatever else he'll still be the same.

Going to be another Jordan Graham. Enough talent to make it at a decent level, just lacking the application and mental side of things.

My issue is I’ve watched Walsall twice this season and they play absolutely horrendous football, doesn’t suit him at all. Waste of his time. Not sure about Pompey

The Albion and Villa details came from Nick Loftus, who's one of the senior Academy members of staff.

Probably the club's way of testing him. He's 21 next year and whilst we all recognise his individual circumstances, there comes a time when you've just got to mature both on and off the pitch.

If he wants a career in football he is going to have to pull his socks up and adapt. Simple as that. He can't spend the rest of his days as a footballer being mollycoddled by Wolves.

Lots of natural ability and although only 20, time will quickly runout for bright. Very disappointing.

He was never at villa or Albion, he only had trials before signing for us.

Still a chance he can turn it around but it's looking unlikely now which is a huge shame

Maybe mentally he just isnt going to be tough enough to make it. That mental edge is crucial to player succeeding. I'm not writing him off just yet, but he needs to perform wherever he is sent to play.

As I said previously, a senior member of the Academy staff at Wolves (Nick Loftus) stated otherwise during commentary on an under 23s game a few years ago.

Then he made a mistake, Bright was signed from Northfield Town in 2015 I think at the age of 15, he only

He had trials with Albion and Villa, but they didn't sign him.

Either way, he's proving them right currently and my faith in him is dwindling

I like Bright for his raw ability and intricate footwork, but there is no space for someone who bluntly won't make the cut. Loans delay the inevitable. I would suggest we support him until he can get another club that will offer him a fresh start with a tough manager.

I don't care if he is stupid with his timekeeping and whatever else.

He has the physical attributes and the feet to offer something going forwards.....it would very hard for him to be any worse than the expensive current front options if he tried to be - fact.

Have him on the bench at least.

Ability wise I tend to look towards how the opposition deal with him and he certainly proved he could worry them in the championship. It was his decision making and final touch at that level that he lacks at the moment. With good coaching and experience there could be a very good player in there.
Attitude wise there are enough rumours to make this likely. A good mentor could do wonders for him and also a behavioural coach would be a good investment. Maybe a few more of our players could do with this also.
Twenty is too young to write off players in general.
