Predicted a win tonight, no surprise to me. Wahahahaha
Just goes to show you can't pick and choose your games in this league, every game is winnable, every game lose-able.
    Delighted

    YES!

Only caught the 2nd half via various means but what a staggeringly good result.

Both goals expertly taken - we were absolutely monstrous at the back by all and there should have NEVER been that many Yellows dished out...

WE’RE BACK BABY! See some of you on Sunday!

If we put that performance in every game, we will win plenty more yet.

I must say tho, Costa has the touch of a Sunday league player.

Now that's far more like it. Very impressed by the grit to get back into the game, and the drive and determination of the players to hold on to the lead.

    Well done lads.

That result will do wonders for the player’s belief. I can see Jota scoring again on Sunday. Brilliant. Get in me beauties.

So glad Jota’s scored, should reinvigorate his confidence and he can get back to last seasons form. Let’s not forget - he was half of our goals last season

Great performance all around, at least after the first 30 minutes.

And if we grow quickly enough to keep hold of MGW and Vinagre for longer we will have two world class players in the team.

We're on 19 points. Half way to safety. :D

Seriously, I really hope that result kicks-on our season and that Nuno and the players have learnt that they need to perform in every game and not just against the bigger teams. Delighted!!

I thought we did well the whole game. We were unlucky to go in 1 down at half time and we took our goals very well. Delighted for Jota, he looked much more like the player from last season. Doc was good going forward but he does my head in defensively, too much walking back. Excellent ball for Jota's goal, and that won the match which is all that really matters. Moutinho was superb in my opinion, he was tenacious and used the ball very well. Saiss had a good game although he did become more subdued after his final warning, understandably so. Back three were great. Rui played well too. In fact, Boly, Bennett and Rui all kept the score at 1-0 at different moments that ensured we had the platform to go on and grab the win. Ref was shocking, genuinely annoyed by him. Thought the fans sounded superb on the telly as well, kept singing when we went 1 down and backed the lads all the way through. A deserved win that hopefully will put us back on the right track. I would take a draw against Newcastle now, take a draw is possibly the wrong phrase, I would no longer be gutted with a draw at Newcastle now. That win takes the pressure off and hopefully we can play in the same manner.

Final thought, how good was it to see us pressing the ball again? Let's keep that up, and not succumb to other teams doing it to us like in the two games before this.

Watched the second half on a stream having missed the first, and so glad I did! Gibbs White was tremendous, as were pretty much the entire team. So pleased for Jimenez and Jota, both of whom looked so pleased afterwards. We came back, and held on against a team who had not lost from a winning position all season, and who looked quality. So proud of my team tonight. So proud of the fans who sounded great on the stream. Really pleased for Nuno.

    Brilliant.

Don't think the ref was as bad as you're making out, E. Gave 8 yellows (4 for each side). Could have given a second yellow to both Moutinho and Saiss but chose to give them a final warning meaning they both stayed on and also listened to 4th official when Costa pulled back late on.

Great win. Bolly, Vinagre, Moutinho, Doc White-Gibbs did great tonight. Special mention to JOTA!
Unlucky on the first goal, lucky on the tie, superb on the 2-1.
Still iffy about Jiminez though. He scored and that's great, but he was quite fortunate on that one.

Class all round. Vinagre, Boly were sloppy in first half but much better in the second. Jota looked like his own self, Jimenez brilliant, Gibbs-White scarily talented and what a through ball - this kid is seriously special and can’t be far off an England call up.

Also special mention to Saiss, back where he should be in midfield and my MOTM. Passing exceptional and a number of outstanding tackles.

Keep Gibbs white in. He is superb and will get better every week

    What a performance

If we’d beaten Cardiff and Huddersfield we’d be sixth!!

Frustrating how we can’t do this every week.

So proud tonight. We are back (again!!)

Vinagre was never a foul let alone a yellow, Alonso should have had two yellows. The Saiss challenge that he got a final warning for was never a foul. Every tackle seemed to be a foul against us and we never seemed to get the decisions. He was really frustrating me massively.
