We only received 3,200 last season.
Ticket Update | 28th December
Apparently we sold out the whole stand accoring to Brizzle.... Biggest league crowd anticipated for Wolves clash
But they netted off about 4 rows all the way across the front of the stand.
Any suggestions on best place to park?
I had a bit of a look yesterday to get an idea on how many left and there was definitely seats for sale on the 3rd row
Guessing the extra 600 we're supposedly getting will be on one of the sides?
In a car park - sorry fella couldn't resist
Last season I was going to park at a cricket club but it was waterlogged. After ignoring some £10 a go places I ended up in the park and ride which is about a 15 minute walk. It is supposedly obviously for people catching the bus but there didn;t seem to be an issue, if you;re there in time there is on the road parking around that same area.
I just called them.
There are still spaces available and Wolves fans can book, however, they won't allocate any to us until their own offer expires - close of business on Friday.
If you call them, they take your number and will call back on Wednesday or Thursday if they have any spaces left then.
Worth a try......
480 left . . .
My mistake. Just checked the actual figure and we sold 3442.
Is it one ticket per supporter number? Couldn’t see on the ticket sales about how many per number. Thanks
Just got ours, possibly sell out today.
I've just looked on the Bristol site and they don't seem to be selling very quick, lots available!
All gone in away end....
Bristol City have got thousands left and reading their forum they aren't going to get anywhere near selling out.
With the run they are on, and prices, they must be a hard lot to please down in Bristol..
Good morning- as the name suggests I am Bristol City and in peace.
Should be a good game Sunday- you're riding high in PL, we are on a strong run ourselves in the division below so should be a good tie- would be even better if it were 3pm or 5.30pm on a Saturday IMO but TV eh! I reckon you'll be targeting it as top half looks likely but top 6 or above not really and it's a good first stepping stone of a trophy- fairly sure we will be playing for the win too though having a good crack at getting playoffs is our top priority of course!
Anyway, a key reason I'm here is wondering- how much is your allocation? Seems not to have been announced publicly and officially- or has it? Can't say I've heard anything concrete at our end.
When are they releasing the 600 extras ?
I'm not sure we will be tbh. We had a bit of crowd trouble v Swansea last time out in the League.
Yep away end all sold out bar one or two plus wheelchair spaces. Given their relatively poor sales, I'd be surprised if they're unwilling to give us the extra 600. Must be a police thing. Cutting it fine now mind.
That's so **** of the police though, Swansea and Bristol have a fight so Wolves fans suffer ....
Another city fan in peace. You won’t get any tickets in another stand as we’ve sold tickets in all 3 home stands. If policed correctly there’s no reason you can’t have whole of away end! It’s lazy policing imo! Anyway I obviously hope we win but would rather win today and see you next season!!
PS just buy tickets in home end if you sell out, just be sensible and you’ll be fine!
We'll go for it that's for sure. On allocation, nobody really knows but the consensus seems to be around 3,400 with us asking for 600 more. Whatever we initially had (3,400?) has now sold out.
If we don't go for the cup this season when would we!!?
Looks like Brizzle are predicting an attendance about 3/4 full, surely they have to give us our full 4000? We've got some nutters but we're far from the worst set of fans these days.
Ticket arrived in post today , whoop whoop !
It can depend in terms of allocation on police 'advice' (by which I mean instruction probably). Police, Safety Advisory Group etc all have a say of course.
For precedent, we only got a modest allocation at Cardiff last season for a Sunday midday kickoff- we had to (and they did too) endure bubble matches v both South Wales sides down the years or if not bubble matches then kickoffs ranging from a Friday night, to a Saturday lunchtime to Sunday afternoon (granted occasionally televised) and Monday night- indeed we had 5.30pm kick off slot last season at home to them moved from that!
Unclear if any reduced allocation would be a club decision, on police/Safety Advisory Group 'advice'- or a mix of the 2!
We got 1,481 there last season! Think they can allocate a max of 3,000 i.e. 10% of allocation.
When did you order mate? Over the weekend?
Tbf Bristol fan in Peace... Cardiff/Swansea/Bristol games are always hostile. Think you'd agree that you or us giving a smaller allocation in a normal game with no recent history sets a precedent.
Anyway... went a couple of years back when you beat us 3-1, great awayday and love the city.
I CANNOT log in. I keep getting the 'sadly we don't recognise these details' message every bloody time. WTF is going on.
I must have filled in about 35 of those ****ing Captcha forms and I'm about to throw my laptop against a wall.
I went to that game as well, my first time in Bristol. Glorious sunshine, and was in a pub along the canal sitting on a table with a load of Bristol City fans. They all wanted Johnson out at that point!
Any decent boozers near the ground, driving up and parking Bedminster side
Parking recommendations mate?
Would also be good to see how many people are going on Saturday and staying over? We've booked a hotel in the city centre, will be around for a few drinks in the evening.
Yep we’re in the holiday inn city centre. Sat night. Should be a good night out
I don't drive so may not be so ideal for this. However parking in Bristol...is limited and this is compounded by Residents Parking Zones in South Bristol.
Bedminster Cricket Club is possibly one to try. Website also mentions Brislington Park & Ride and Portway Park & Ride too but if you're travelling southbound towards Bristol, not sure how useful they are.
In terms of drinks for away fans...pubs near the ground are home fans only. North Street broadly speaking seems to be home fan only- the one possible exception maybe the Tobacco Factory which welcomes both home and away fans or it did last time I looked in.
Nova Scotia, Rose of Denmark both welcome away fans- there maybe one or 2 more as well but none all that near the ground. Both about a mile or so away. The Pumphouse another.
Home - Tobacco Factory
Looks interesting that Tobacco place. Prefer a proper pub on a matchday though, lots all round the floating harbour.
Had too many ciders and shots on a boat last time I was there
First day we could (Gold) I was getting a bit concerned.
Same for me. Ordered online immediately they went on sale to gold ASTs and ticket arrived in post today, much to my relief. I've noticed recently tickets seem to be taking a bit longer to be posted out.
