I fully expect him to send Cardiff out with 'They are a bunch of foreign softies .Give them a kick and see how many come back for a second one'?

I think you may well be misrepresenting the forward thinking, progressive cockwomble that Neil Warnock is!

If Bright had end product in his game right now, everyone would be after him, and I mean EVERYONE (including Gestifute!). The skill and strength he has for a 19 year old is ridiculous, lightning quick, he's got the lot... bar the end product, when he adds that to his game he'll be an absolute star

I'm a bit torn on Bright. I really feel that when Costa is fit, we might not see a great deal of him, which is a shame as he is playing really well and is obviously benefitting from having a good head coach and quaility footballers around him.

I also feel that if we can get him a move to the right club, he could really thrive and come on in leaps and bounds in terms of his decision making and end product if we loan him out. I can see the point in keeping him here, but i can also see the benefit in him getting more game time.

His through ball and cross led to both of our goals today, and he put Doherty through with a sublime piece of skill and he should have scored from it. I'd say he started showing that end product today.

His confidence is only growing and Nuno now has four wingers (Costa/Jota/Cav/Bright) that are going to give him an almighty selection headache, and a very good one at that!

I think Bright may be one who learns more on the job i.e. under Nuno's direct tutelage rather than send him out on loan .

I agree, he did brilliant work today which contributed to goals I just think he needs to see his name as a scorer/assister (is that even a word?!). It must have been a huge boost to him though to have been selected by Nuno ahead of Cavaleiro. Showing him he's seriously rated by the management, as opposed to being arguably our MOTM against Newcastle and then not seen for three months

He's done his job today and should keep the shirt. Our attack lines are gelling and it will only get better. Jota hasn't scored either - it's no problem.

You haven't watched him, and I mean that in the nicest sense. To say at times he has been the best on the pitch is no understatement. He has simply been brilliant and long may Nuno and the management keep him in the first team.

Cannot and must not send him on loan. He isn't our most dangerous in front of goal but he looks our most dangerous player on the pitch generally. He was outstanding today but he will need to do more in terms of direct assists/goals.

Young player brimming with confidence surrounded by quality and experience all around I'd say keep him and keep encouraging him and he will be a top player this season but Nuno knows best.

I know what you mean, but i've seen probably every game he has played, just not in the flesh. Its that decision making and end product part of his game thats letting him down at the moment imo. He has so much talent, and you would hope those things i mentioned will improve with experience. I just worry a bit his development may slow a little once Costa comes back as Jota, Cav and Costa will all be in front of him imo. Thats where i think a move on loan would help him long term because if he gets that into his game, we have a serious, serious footballer on our hands.

I wouldnt assume that Cav will be in front of Bright.

I'm not too worried about Bright's finishing if he can do what he did today. Sublime skills at times. Ok by me.

Why though? Its no good just saying its wrong. What good is it going to do him sitting on the bench or even not making the subs bench.

As i see it, on the bench, we will always have 2 defenders, 2 midfield players and 2 forwards, plus the keeper. Defenders will more than likely be Batth and Bennett, midfielders will be 2 from Price, Ronan and Edwards. When we have all our players available, with what we have now, our forward players are going to be 3 from Costa, Cav, Bonatoni and Jota i'd say, so one of those will be on the bench. That other spot will either be taken by Dicko or another striker if we sign one. I just cant see where Enobakhare will fit unless he starts adding a bit more end product. A loan move, playing competitive league football will develop him more than playing in the U23's with us, as long as he gets the right move. We have potentially a match winng, game changing player on our hands if we handle him properly.

He needs to be kept here. He's going to benefit more from being at the club not away from the club. He isn't the personality to learn from a loan, needs to feel wanted here.

A loan doesnt mean we dont want him, and it shouldnt either if its handled correctly. We would just need to make sure its the right club for him where he will get plenty of game time. If he doesnt have the personality to learn from different environments i'd worry about how he will develop anyway. We have to basically put our faith in the coaching staff to do whats best for him, and he should go along with that as well.

I still really see no benefit for him playing in the U23's and i'm yet to see any decent argument for him playing in the U23's as opposed to playing in competitive games. Its fine to keep him if he will be involved in the first team squad most weeks either starting or on the bench, thats when i cant see the point in loaning him. If he doesnt though, and like i said before, i doubt he will with a fully fit front 5 players of Costa, Cav, Dicko, Jota and Bonatini, plus hopefully another striker, i think he will struggle to make the bench. I cant see that being any benefit to him.

Must admit, i think we have got a lot of our loaning of our kids wrong. I think Shrewsbury for Ennis will be a poor move for him personally. Thats my one big concern with loaning out Bright.

Based on watching all 3 matches, albeit on a stream - if play a front 3, & concept 2 players per position, we need & want Bright....in fact, currently after Derby match, Bright would be my first pick (crucial part in both goals), then Jota....leaving Dicko, Bonatini and Cavaleiro (none of whom played 90 mins last 3 games) to fill central spot, and 2 come on from bench... I want to see more back heels like he did to Doherty...used to be a saying, you would pay just to watch a Best, Knowles, etc...same about Bright, Jota, Costa...others not quite there yet

I was all for loaning him out, but the amount he has improved under nuno in a short space of time is huge. I've no doubt he's put a lot of fitness and strengthening work in over the summer himself but being in and around players of this quality day in and day out will help..

Sending him out on loan would be the bigggest mistake Wolves could ever make, even if he wasn't getting in the squad let alone the team. He is a complex character who needs to be loved. Wolves know this. A loan isn't, and wasn't,ever in their thinking. They know what a special talent he is and that he needs to be nurtured at home. Hopefully now, our fans can get behind him, sing his name form the rooftops, and just enjoy and appreciate what a wonderful player he is. We do this, and the goals will come, and then we'll have the problem of keeping hold of him.

From what I've heard this is very much the case. It's been very disappointing at times to read the criticism of him on here given the kid is 19. We can be an unforgiving lot but we need to nurture him too.

We have a potential superstar on our hands here.

FWIW I think Graham will be sold.

I havent said he wont be a star tbf, i just not convinced he is going to be even on the bench if we get a fully fit squad, and my personal opinion is he would benefit for his development more from playing first team football than playing reserve grade. I'd be pleasantly surprised if we carried him on the bench, but i believe our forward options will be one of Cav, Costa and Jota alongside a striker.

Graham is a fantastic player, but he probably doesnt suit us, and the stories about his attitude are a worry. Not sure he has the drive to re-invent himself as a wing back either.

From the first time I saw him last season live he's improved ten fold. Our Nuno and the staff must be very good. Champions league quality don't forget.

I think Jordan would lap it up in the front three mate who wouldn't want to play in this team.he's got to knuckle down get fit and battle like diogo jota etc. They all seem to have a great work ethic as well as technical skills that are fantastic to watch. Happy days.

Interestingly enough, fans of both Middlesbrough and Derby have mentioned Bright's name when reeling off our "expensive, multi-million signings". Although it shows a lack of research, it perhaps also highlights what a talent he is.

I think we forget that he's only 19, and has played just a handful of first team games, I believe yesterday's was his 20th in Old Gold. He proved in the Checkatrade Trophy last season that going to League One/Two on loan would be a complete waste of time, as he's far too good for that level, and he's far more likely to get booted up in the air and injured.

From what I've been told, he's a very complex personality, but Wolves are working very hard to nurture him. Nuno has been brilliant with him so far, you'd have to say, it would have been easy to drop him for Cavaleiro yesterday, but the manager showed his faith, stuck with him, and was rewarded with arguably Bright's best, certainly his most influential game, in Wolves colours.

I don't agree Mug. Listening to Nuno on the Saturday\Tuesday slog he was talking about having the players 'fresh' !

I believe Costa will be rested for lots of games, all players will. We have a fantastic starting eleven but the squad needs improving as he won't allow that eleven to be flogged! Bright is needed here. He'll get loads of game time even when Helder returns, for that reason!

Exactly. Saturday Tuesday Saturday Tuesday ad infinitum means we'll have to rotate and with Costa, Marshall and a striker still to enter the fray there will be no weak starting XI, aside from slight concerns in CM.

Thats what i've been saying though. If he is going to be involved a fair bit, the need to loan him out wont be there. I'm not convinced we will chop and change that much though, not in the league anway.. I cant see us changing out Costa, Bonatini and Cav for say Bright, Jota and Dicko ( or a new striker if we get one ) on a regular basis. We will get a fair idea of his intentions over the next 2 games i think.

Saw him in a couple of games for Porto and he stood out. Tbf to Cav, at the same age as Jota was regarded as a huge talent. One of the star players of the U21 championships, came runner up iirc to Carvalho for player of the tournament and had more of an impact than Bernardo Silva.
