Rumours on facebook that he is off to Cardiff. Good luck to him if he is but surely must mean a new striker is imminent if this is correct?

    Let's hope so.

I will always appreciate the start he gave us last year but there is absolutely no room for sentiment where we are going. Madness to ever sign him in all honesty.

Always done his best for us and was brilliant for 5/6 months last year.

I actually think he’s done ok in the very limited game time he’s had for us this year.

Obviously we’re moving into bigger and better things but his contribution in the first half of last season was vital in giving us the momentum we needed to win the League.

Will always wish him well if and when he moves on.

Played a big part in our promotion season even if he did go off the boil towards the end, will always have my best wishes.

    An interesting development if true..

Thanks and good luck, Leo! Hope you and Colin get on. Would love to see you get the goals that keep Cardiff up (though not against us!)

If any truth in this then surely we may be down the line of advanced negotiation for a striker. Please Wolves don't let one go until you are sure you have one coming in or even better already had his photo's taken.

If he does end up at Cardiff make sure you all back him to score against us. You all know it's bound to happen :)

Well they are loaning Madine to Sheffield United so they are definitely in the market for a striker

If it’s a loan PL rules don’t allow you to play against your parent club but I take your point.

No chance this can be true, they have a genuine chance of staying up now and just need to goals to their team, that isn’t Bonatini

Interesting if true as he's almost the last player I can see fitting the way Cardiff play.
If he goes, wherever it is, he was a fantastic signing for us and fundamental to our good first half of the season. I would have nothing but good wishes for him.

To be fair, December until May in an August until May season isn't "towards the end", it's over half the season. What he did from August to November was great however, and I wish him well if he does leave.

Personally prefer him to go on loan, a run anywhere and few goals would up his confidence, we as a club owe him a lot.He was our only striker afterr dicko was sold and did a great job, also his link up play was superb. He would make a great number 10.

Why would that mean a new striker is imminent? He doesn’t come on whether we need a goal or not, him leaving changes nothing tbh.

He'll surely fall further down the pecking order if Abraham and/or any other striker turns up. He scored some important goals at the start of last season but hasn't looked like offering much since. I assumed he'd be loaned out to somewhere in the Championship, but if we can attract a fee for him, even better. Good luck to him if he goes.

We cant afford to hang around too long if we are letting Bonatini, Hause go. Yes they dont play much but we have been very lucky with injuries so far. A couple of injuries and kids would be in.

You do realise that one knock to Jimenez and we are stuffed. Of course we need a striker if he goes. Cant have a squad that is too small. We have been lucky with injuries so far. He is also a regular on the bench. Yes he doesnt get on much but we have been lucky with Jimenez so far.

All that will happen is Jota replaces him in the squad, doesn’t mean anyone is imminent.

If Jiminez gets injured we are more likely to play Cav Jota or Traore there.

I've always rated him, got us off to a winning start for promotion. Agree with Tring in that he has done well this season, WHU and Spurs home? Unfortunately he suffered the fans wrath of being the first false number 9 the club has had while our style of play changed. Not his fault he will never be a Bully or Goodman goal getting type of striker but a very intelligent player. Good luck Leo if you leave or stay.

Bonatini has been on his way out for months. Hasn't even got on as a sub for ages as he?

Letting him go before a striker comes in is neither here or there. It's like saying
If Jimenez gets injured Bonatini isn't the answer.

Just as Joe Mason isn't the answer.

Either of them leaving has no bearing on transfers in or Jimenez staying fit

Still a player that is regularly on the bench though. Lets face it. We all know Jimenez needs some quality competition and it would be foolish to ignore this area of the squad for much longer. Same applies to wing back area and centre back cover. We must have one of the smallest squads in the prem and have been very fortunate with injuries so far.

I have to say l just don't see how he fits Warnock's 'style' of football at all.

Not how Cardiff play. They like to get the ball in the box quickly and fight for 2nd balls.

Given the recent injury to Jota, the stuttering performances of Cav, Traore and Costa and the fact that his link up play is pretty good, i am surprised we dont keep him to play in the No. 10 role.

I was just thinking the same to be honest. The void centrally between kiminez and our central midfielders has been huge. With bonatini's link up play he could probably play that role well. But then again I'd probably rather see MGW
