You make a good point, mate. On reflection you make a good case.

That's the thing about sensible discussion...it can lead to a change of opinion instead of escalating heated arguments.;)

On their day, he's no better than anything we've got. Costa, Cavaleiro and Jota are all superior to him technically and all very gifted, with plenty of potential. But these gifts also come with inconsistency. Same goes with Traore too.

Whilst Pritchard doesn't give you the same X-factor and flair that our others do, what he does offer is consistency of performance. He will rarely perform lower than a 7/10 for Huddersfield, so this would give us an option in the squad that maybe we don't have currently.

Ideal sort of player to bring on for one of our flair wingers, to keep possession and hold onto a result.

I think this is a key team attribute Nuno will really need to develop.

We have 'impact' players but it's control and consistency that is going to help establish us higher up the league.

Haven't seen much of him other than the match against Wolves when he impressed. Having said that, I'd have impressed against that Wolves' team. Doesn't seem a "Nuno-type player", but in football nothing ever surprises me.

When Pritchard was playing at Swindon about four seasons ago he may have been worth the gamble because of his potential at a good age. Now after time with Norwich and Huddersfield its NO THANKS because during the intervening period he didn't progress very much and has struggled to hold down a consistent first team place.

I’m not that sold on Pritchard either really, but definitely intrigued that we’re being linked with number 10s in general.

Many were clamouring for a 3-4-1-2 with MGW as 10 and Jota as second striker. Turns out that’s what we got, and to an extent (as in not the first half) it worked.
Now we’re being linked with more number 10s, to add depth in a position we didn’t really have a week ago.
    Interesting.

I think Huddersfield rivals are much lower in the table

I can't see this happening unless it involves some sort of swap.

Would rather have Billing if we're gonna buy a Huddersfield player.

Huddersfield pay nowhere near that kind of money - if they did, it would probably be to Aaron Mooy

Spot on Tring! We need to spend all our pennies on a guy who will find the net 20+ times a season.

Billing is one of those players that you watch for a couple of seasons thinking there's a player hiding in there but he never seems to step outside his own comfort zone. You wonder if he has the drive to really step up his game to a higher level. Has age on his side so he's potentially a good signing.

Nah. You don't have to believe everything you read folks. Not someone our current management would go after IMO.

Also, those who think he's on £110,000 a week, please, stop it :)

Would be very disappointed if we only sign players Pritchard's level during the transfer window. A step backwards in my opinion

I can't believe that's accurate but if that's true Pritchard's agent has played a blinder. £110k per week for essentially a spurs reserve is ridonculous.

A decent enough player, but I am not convinced he is any better than we already have. Plus as has been mentioned, we don't want anyone to hinder the progress of MGW.

Interesting Wolowolf. Find it hard to believe that Huddersfield would pay a player more than twice as much as the next highest and in some cases 5 X as much as some others, but what do I know.

appreciate that fella - I wasn't questioning the authenticity or having a pop at you - i was just stating a fact that one of the smaller premier league teams wouldn't chuck that kind of money about
