    Intro

Japan Wolves were set up by J-Wolf on the eve of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The club are based in Fukuoka City on Japan’s westernmost main island of Kyushu.
After 20 years in the making, the club are here, catering for Wolves support in Japan.
J-Wolf from Dudley, has followed WWFC in the Land of the Rising Sun for two decades.

    Change
20.10.2018 : Today members in Fukuoka changed the club name.
From Japan Wolves to Japan Wolves Independent Supporters Group (JWISG).
In response to WWFC officially recognising another Japan Wolves based in Tokio as Official.
More information about the name change can be found on the club website, explaining the reasons in more detail.

20.10.2018 : J-Wolf says - On 13 June 2018, I decided to start Japan Wolves Supporters Club and spread the word of Wolves in Japan.
We quickly attracted a small core of English fans who live in Kyushu and then members of a Japanese futsal club decided to come on board.
However, with the advent of Worldwide Wolves being set up by WWFC..
Our Supporters Club held a meeting on 20 October 2018 - and decided not to participate in the official clubs organisation.

21.10.2018 : Japan Wolves as you knew it is no more
From 21 October 2018 Japan Wolves Supporters Club as some of you have come to know it will cease to exist.
Instead, we will be known as Japan Wolves Independent Supporters Group (JWISG).
There is an indication of why on our About page. All that I need to say to put people in the picture..

    News
01.08.2018 : An update on Club Membership. J-Wolf says - The club is up to 15 members now because some of my old futsal team came on board.
They are all Japanese guys, which is good. Shortly, we'll be putting out a lot more Japanese language content on the website, which should make a big difference.
15.08.2018 : Japan Wolves watch on DAZN. J-Wolf says - On Saturday 11 August, the big day, I got myself set and tuned in with other Japan Wolves fans at 1:15am for the game.
It was astounding. The coverage at Molineux was fantastic, and the club looked (from 6000 miles away) like the real Premier League deal.

    Website
To kick-start Japan Wolves, J-Wolf launched an informative website in English and Japanese as a platform for the Supporters Club.
13.06.2018 : J-Wolf says - WELCOME TO JAPAN WOLVES! While the main pages of the site are informational and the Japanese language page is
    designed
for Japanese people to learn about Wolves, the blog is where you can find my views on much more than Wolves FC. You can also get in touch and join the club!
23.06.2018 : J-Wolf says - As we build the club the website will reflect what we're doing. There are four members at the moment. I'll announce a monthly meeting in a sports
bar soon. If we were in Tokyo I've no doubt we'd be up and running with a regular meeting of 10-20 people within a month, but as we're in the provinces, and there isn't a big expat community here, it will take more time, and I'll be relying on native Japanese interest. With Wolves signing Rui Patricio there should be a big boost in interest from Japan, because they really love the Spanish and Portuguese playing styles and know a lot about European and British football in general. Patricio is very popular, and when I watched
the Portugal-Spain and Portugal-Morocco games live on Japanese TV, his player profile had Wolverhampton Wanderers, Premier League, England right at the top of the screen.
