Not seen it posted yet. Apparently going to be a regular thing...
Sorry Bully but I disagree, I don’t think you would get in Nuno’s team.
You were a great goalscorer but never in the top division, Graham Taylor knew you were not good enough for where he wanted to take us and tried to offload you to Coventry.
Nice bloke but not a top, top player.
Really?????? Did you see him play
Seen them all since 1963.
So you think Bully is not as good as Afobe or Rafa Mir? Strange you think that an England International striker would not get in a Championship team.
Congratulations. You have just put yourself amongst the most ridiculous **** I've ever read about football on the internet. Along with "Zidane wasn't all that" and "Seedorf was hugely overrated".
Steve ****ing Bull, centre forward in Nuno's team, with the through balls and support he'd receive? Look at how many goals he scored in crap Wolves sides.
Why am I even entertaining this comment.
Ok fair play. I think he would be beating his 52 in a season personally considering he managed that feeding off scraps
dont neccessarily agree that Taylor thought that at all. Nunos style probably not direct enough for Bullys but he may have adapted his play. Either way i think it disrespectful to Bully to make such a statement without evidence to back up such a conclusion. Plus he didnt let England down did he?
Tell you what, how about you say it out loud in any pub within a mile of the ground next home game, just to gauge opinion lol
he must be taking the ****
How many do you think he would score in this team
Are you sure that you are thinking about the same player ?
FFS. Steve Bull made the late 80s to mid 90s bearable. I have only cried once in a football stadium.
It wasn’t at Cardiff, or when we beat QPR to go up. Neither was it after any relegation.
It was when that man walked onto the pitch v Pompey after he had announced his retirement. I was gutted,
Bully would bag 30 goals a season in this team, in the Premier League!
Is their a Dislike, nay, a Distain button for Wolvessince63
How can you Dis God ?
Fixed it, Sorry Lescott !
Don’t pick on the poor OP
We aren't in the top Division last time I looked .The question was asked in the context of where we are now.
Let's all hammer Bully now
You can't coach goal scoring, you can't coach bravery and you can't coach the ability to be in the right place at the right time. Nuno could coach him the rest, he would be awesome under Nuno
Sorry, but Bully in his pomp would have been lethal with the vision of the players behind him!
Look how many goals he scores from running onto a long ball or a flick from Mutch. Jota & Neves would have had a field day playing them balls in.
I think the hat trick aeroplane would have been in full flight plenty times this season
Sorry wolves-63 not endearing yourself to other molinuex mixers with your comments so i can't see you winning many votes in the most popular poster thread!!
Bully would have had a hat full given the pace around him. Costa, cav, jota etc and the supply from neves through the middle.
You do realise he played for England? I am certain he would be an upgrade over Afobe and that's without trying to be negative to Afobe.
Nah he wasnt top quality. Just played in a World Cup for England when he was nowhere near the top division.
What an absolute bellend.
Has any player in wolves history had as many different songs as bully?? I can't think of anyone
Yes 306 lucky scuffed tap ins
Bull linked up superbly with Cook’s through balls, I imagine he would be lethal with Neves plus the pace of Costa/Jota/Cav
Regardless of what we achieve in the future Steve Bull will always be a hero to me. He almost saved this club single handedly. Nuno would play him and improve him. Bully dwarfs bonatini, mir and afobe. He would walk into this team and learn and play better
at times bully was worth two men. Sometimes he had no idfield to work with. What he did was a miracle and the fact we sing about him 20myears after he retired says it all. No other club does this for a former player to my knowledge
United still sing about lots of old players to be fair, Cantona in particular
Possibly the worst post ever on this forum. Complete *******s
What scraps were these?
4 goals in the equivalent to 6 full games. ****e ain’t he
Think you need to go and get a new keyboard, the one you have is soiled and contaminated with such words.
To be honest there isn't going to be a sensible deate on this when too many people (myself very much included) worship the guy. There's a tiny bit of truth in the idea that we don't play with a no.9 who wants to be on the shoulder of the last defender all game so it might not have suited his preferred style. However he'd have looked light years ahead of Afobe on Saturday and would walk into this team this year or next - not his fault we never got him to the stage he deserved.
The scraps from the 3rd and 4th division days when he still managed 52 in a season
Bully would have hit the 30 mark already this season in this side.
Separate names with a comma.
