20 in the squad????
Does anyone have the current table for our U23's to hand??
2-0 up after 10 minutes. Gladon with both goals.
I know it is u23 game but fair play to Gladon. I have never seen him play but have been told he looked poor but has really ever had a fair chance? All our strikers have struggled this season to be fair. He may well not be good enough but fair play to him tonight.
4-0 now Gladon hat trick and Cameron John with the other
Full time 4.3
Thanks for taking the trouble to provide the table JackDusty [love the naval user name!]
So we do have an excellent chance of reaching the play-offs if we keep up our good record this season.
It would be great if we could secure promotion.
Question about a February game. According to Wolves official website the postponed U23 game vs Stoke have been rescheduled for Tuesday 14th Feb at 7.00. Same day as the Wigan game. Is that really correct?
Anyone else watched these? Brilliant videos, shows the lads are really down to earth and get on off the field too!
Why do the E&S still refer to our Under 21's on match reports?
I thought it was U23's now or is the Checkatrade Trophy still U21's?
Checkatrade is at least six U21 players. League games in PL2 is at least eight U23 players. We play with almost only U19 players in both. The youth teams playing in the Checkatrade Trophy is called U23, U21 or Acadamy. No one really seems to know.. and if FA, FL and PL dont know I guess we will continue to see them called different names.
(could be incorrect with the exact number of players, but its something like that)
Doesn't really matter I guess, but at least it's not down to shoddy journalism (for once)!
Looking more into it I can see "U21" is the most correct thing to call them. Its what they are called at the EFL website: http://www.efl.com/checkatrade-trophy/results/
Highlights (also posted it in the thread "Checkatrade Trophy" but might be better to have it here):
U23s (although the team looked much younger) won 3-0 away at Rugby Town last night in the Birmingham Senior Cup. Carr, Allan and Finnie with the goals
Anybody know how much the tickets are tonight for the U23's at Kiddi?
Wolves Under 23s travel to Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough Stadium for a PL2 clash with West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
The Baggies are fifth in the PL2 Division 2 table and are without a win in three league outings, drawing 0-0 with Middlesbrough in their last match at Aggborough.
Wolves ran out 3-1 winners in the reverse fixture at Molineux in August.
Speaking to wba.co.uk ahead of the Black Country derby, Albion's Under 23 Coach James Shan said: "Our performance the first time we played them was substandard.
"We're looking to amend that. We want to have the bragging rights this time around."
Wolves' last PL2 outing was a 2-1 defeat away at Brighton & Hove Albion. But Scott Sellars' squad have since won three consecutive games in the Premier League Cup, the Checkatrade Trophy and the Birmingham Senior Cup respectively.
The Under 23s are currently second in the league table, eight points behind leaders Swansea City with a game in hand.
Tickets for Monday's game are £5 for adults and £1 for concessions.
Daniel Armstrong, Harry Beasley, Anthony Breslin, Nicu Carnat, Brad Carr, Joe Delacoe, Sylvain Deslandes, Ross Finnie, Morgan Gibbs-White, Christian Herc, Connor Johnson, Ryan Leak, Conor Levingston, Hakeem Odoffin, Will Randall, Connor Ronan & Aaron Simpson.
Many thanks, was hoping to go but playing myself now....the joys!
Looks like no reserve goalie. All injured?

Berahino playing for #WBA tonight against #WWFC
Saido Berahino will play his first competitive match for close to three months when he lines up for the Under 23s against Wolves tonight.
The 23-year-old desperately needs competitive minutes to boost his fitness after a prolonged absence from the pitch.
He spent time at a conditioning camp in France, amid accusations he was overweight, and is now deemed ready for a role with Jimmy Shan’s development side.
“Saido’s playing tonight for the u23s,” Baggies boss Tony Pulis confirmed, ahead of the match which kicks off at 7pm at Kidderminster's Aggborough stadium.
“That will be his first full game so hopefully he’ll get through that and we’ll take it from there.
“We’ll see how he is.”
Pulis is likely to go and watch in person his one-time talisman, who has not played for the first team since September 10.
Burgoyne and Flatt will be on first team duties for tomorrow night - Beasley is an u18s keeper I believe so, you're talking really young if you go any lower than that - I guess they decided not to include on that basis.
Still no sign of that new goalkeeper, Ruddy, who we signed from Bury. Anyone know what is wrong with him? He hasn't even played a game for us yet!
Christian Kjetil Haug starts for us in goal. Manchester City u23's main GK I believe. Probably on an emergency loan.
Prince Oniangue starting...
Cue hat-trick. Seriously though, I hope he comes through without problems as we desperately need him in our shambles of a midfield.
Not sure the goalkeepers my cup of tea.
Hope Prince can do well. We need someone to come in and help our poor central midfield.
Jeff Shi in attendance at Wolves U23s vs WBA U23s tonight
Any news ?
Doesn't seem likely as up to this season he was in the under 18.s so if he is now in the under 23.s its only been this season. He is only 18 himself. Surely if we were going for an emergency loan it would be someone more experienced.

Ronan is quality.
Yes but similar to Herc when will he get a flaming chance?Stagnation abounds.
Taxi to Kiddy to take Ronan up to Cardiff please! Just the sort of midfield player the first team is crying out for. Herc and Gibbs White also quality. All technically good as well.
WBA has had a player sent off

**** on the Boggies!...
Would have given him a pint of Bathams on the house at the King & Castle if I'd have known.
Saying that I'd have probably asked for my season ticket money back in the process
