Don, firstly many thanks for your time at Wolves. I used to really enjoy watching you play.

I just want to cast your mind back to the cracking Wolves - Sheffield Wed FA Cup 4th round replay at Molineux on 8th February 1995. Wolves winning 4-3 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw over 120 mins.

The game was so atmospheric, broadcast on a freezing cold night on Sky TV for the world to see.

That nail-biting match must be stored in the front draw of your football memory bank.

Wolves were 3-0 down in the penalty shoot-out and looked dead and buried....

So, how did it feel to score THE winning penalty down at the South Bank which clinched the tie for Wolves? Did you sleep that night, or stay awake scoring the penalty many times over in your mind?

And does your heart pump that bit faster when you think and talk about it today?

Just another quick question, if I may.

When running at the oppostion with the ball, you were a bit famous for the 'step over' weren't you?

Where did you learn it, or did it just come naturally?

What do you remember of your debut for Sunderland against Wolves where 2 Sunderland players were sent off?

My favorite goals of yours for Wolves was the one against Leeds in the F.A cup. Which was your favorite Wolves goal?

    Don,

Did you have any hesitation joining Wolves after being an Albion player previously?

Don, how did it feel to get caught out by a 40 yard cross field ball in the football aid match back in 2010 about 33 minuttes into the game.

Is there an address I can send the dvd too?

Don, did it ever occur to you that a change of studs might have meant you spent less than half of every game on your backside - because for the other half you were actually quite good?!

Who was technically the best player you played with Don, and who was perhaps technically the worst but made up with it by hard work....and....did you ever consider playing left back??

Don, how did you sometimes defy gravity by hanging in mid-air for longer than the average person when heading a ball? Is it just me who thought this?

    On a more serious note:

Don, who would you say was the most underrated player of your time at Wolves, such as an unsung hero or just a player that did not quite get the recognition they deserved?

Mr Goodman, i remember you when you were in Roseanne and King Ralph but my particular favourite was when you played the likeable but borderline sociopath viet-nam veteran, Walter, in The Big Lebowski.

What id like to know is... Have you done something to your hair? you Look different somehow!

You were always one of my favourite players back in those days Don.

What's your take on we never quite got that promotion we were all so desperate for? Everything seemed to be in place?

Do you think Sepp Blatter is a total dinosaur who should be made extinct and do you think the premier league could break away from fifa and use goal line technology revert the offside rule back to how it used to be and survive

  22. Leeds away in FA Cup is one of my all time fave games ... just quality

    Thank you Don

Don, sorry, but just one more question.

You were involved in one of the most spectacular goals I have ever seen scored at Molineux.

The only goal of the Leicester 5th Round FA Cup tie in 1995, just 10 days after the Sheff Wed shoot-out.

David Kelly dummied a Leicester defender and left him on his backside just inside the Wolves half. David fed the ball out to you, and as you charged down the right side, he went 'hell for leather' down the middle. And nearly broke his neck getting on the end of your inch perfect cross with a headed goal.

A brilliant move and goal, executed with pace and precision.

You must have been proud of the part you played in it.

Have you ever discussed THAT goal again with David Kelly over the years?

Hello Don, greetings from Sunny Singapore. I have two questions:

    1) You suffered a horrific injury while playing for Wolves cracking your skull (I forget against whom). We were all desperate for you to get well. How worried were you that you'd never play again? How did you spend your time during your convalescence? How worried were you that you'd not be the same player? And how'd you celebrate coming back from injury.

    2) There's a lot being said about racism in football today, what with the alledged Terry incident and Blatter's gaffe. What was it like to be a black player during your time? How much racism did you face at Wolves or at any other club?
