Anyone know how this fan zone/south bank overspill is doing? It would really add to the atmosphere if that gets going & they keep the cheap tickets in there all year round.

I take it moving your ST in there isn't an option?

I think the new fan zone sounds great - I hope the South Bank and the Quadrant are bouncing off each other with singing.

Instead of indirecting me just tag me in your post why don't you?

As for your statement, that will be judged over a number of years. Not one game (of which is the opening game of the season after a 3 month break)

Hope it will. No doubt single ticket sales were taken up by the more vocal 'knuckle draggers' who should find their way to the quadrant. Promising

I estimate we have 4500 tickets left in Wolves sections, that includes about 1000 in the upper Quadrant, and includes the 1200 in the Steve Bull upper wings also not currently for sale. I presume we have about 27500 tickets available to home fans in total, so would suggest about 23000 currently sold, with 3 weeks to go. Only need to sell about 200 per day to sell out home tickets. If we buy a good striker the sales would certainly shift.

I think we will do that quite comfortably, though 800 sales a day surely won't continue. Might sell out sooner than expected, so if you want to go, the message is they are shifting quickly.

Don't think they helped not put it on sale straight away I went in Steve Bull as thought it had sold out.
Yeah see a big peak next weekend not sure it'll be a complete sell out as they usually seem to find a few seats dotted around to put back on sale last minute but reckon it'll be near enough

Considering there's only about 330 left in the Steve Bull I'm surprised they've not opened the wings yet. Surely these would be the first to go at £ 25.00 than the £ 30.00 ones in the Billy Wright.

Will the South Bank over-spill be singing pro North Bank anti South Bank Songs or the opposite? Or will they create their own identity?? So many possibilities...

lower quadrant has about 100 left, upper not yet opened?

Steve bull wing closest to SB is nearly sold out, surprised they haven't put extreme wings on sale

They sure are. When I got my 4 in Steve Bull Upper J9 we were the only ones in our row and there were many seats available all around . Different story this morning, filling up nicely :)

its funny. when the "old" north bank opened it had just as much singing as the south bank. it had real atmosphere 20 years ago. the new stand is a poor stand and wasted opportunity. go back to the 70s and the north bank was THE singing stand

I would like to hear.. The North Bank.. The South Bank.. The Quadrant..

But I think the Quadrant may link up with the North Bank to form an alliance..

To take the South Bank on, in.. A Battle of the Molineux Loudest!

Around 3500 Wolves tickets left, 'including' those Wolves sections not for sale at present (they are just one section in Quadrant, and 2 Steve Bull wings).

By my humble estimation we have sold about 800-1000 since 12 noon yesterday. If this rate continues we could be more or less be sold out by the weekend. I expect it to slow, but maybe not.

Get your tickets boys and girls, they am gooin fast!

That's pretty impressive Reans. Not a dig at the previous owner/management but had things carried on as they were/had been under the previous incumbents reckon we'd be lucky to see a crowd much bigger than 22-23K. As it stands seems, should Boro sell out, there should be around 28k and I'm sure sales will continue even if slowly. Be very nice to see an opening day with 30K in the Molineux.

I really expect Wolves to sell out for this, so if Boro sell their 2700 it should hit 30,000.

A sell out would be both impressive and pleasing but just reaching the 30K mark is a decent achievement when you take into account the utter dross the supporters have suffered a long while now.

That's astonishing. Goes to show we could pull in 40k or even 45-50 allowing for big away following if we really got motoring in the Prem.

One step at a time though Stoichkov my son....

If they all wear green parkas and arrive on mopeds, would it be Quadrant-phoenia?

Can I ask why they don't sell either ends of the Steve Bull Upper? Or are they?

Fully agree with you. I recall when Wolves beat Rotherham 6-4 at Molineux in front of over 30K and that was a L1 game. I know Rotherham had a good following but if the club can attract about 27k of their own supporters for a L1 game then being succesful in the PL I can only imagine would see many more turning up.

I can't go to this unfortunately but I know a few dormant fans have decided to give it another go! If they start off right, fosun buy some big name players like Neves, they ought to know by these sales alone Wolves fans will back the team.

They would've done a huge amount of research into fan base before buying and they will be well aware of what wolves as a successful club will bring in. You can't make a hugely successful club without a big fan base so they know we've got it, they've got to dig deep to get the new and and more importantly the old fans which Moxey and Morgan forced away back.

There are seats in J10, due to the pitch shift towards the South you can no longer see the goal up the South Bank end but apart from that I really don't know.

So I've been kicked out the south bank and soon I'm going to struggle getting a seat in the south bank overspill.
Gonna be up in the gods of the NB upper quadrant a fair bit this year :)

Been there a few times, it's good when the south banks full cos you get a few more rowdy lads in there.
Hard to compete with the Best home stand in the Country though.

I really hope there will be more youngish fans in the North Bank and quadrant to get it rocking. No animosity anymore, please. Just a great backing for the club and team.

Why you going to struggle? Lower not sold out yet and isn't the whole quadrant part of this fan zone / overspill area?

I'm just hoping once it does get going as a Southbank overspill that it is as such ie people stand in there (and it's tolerated) and sing.

Just the lower tier. I was waiting on my brother to see if he was going so didn't get one early. Been offered a £5 ticket but going in there instead.
If it's standing that's the only way it can be south bank overspill isn't it, if everyone's just families and sat down then it's just the north bank last season, hard to get into the game seated imo.

Isn't that because some South Bankers had had enough of the crumbling South Bank and migrated to the freshly built North Bank?

I'd say they've all headed South now.

I agree though, 20 years ago the North used to be quite noisy, nothing like the South Bank when it's on song though.
